Yes please
From Brisbane Times

Coach Ivan Cleary said after the game it was probably best Leniu did not return because he was so fired up. Leniu, 22, has the ability to produce a non-compromising brand of football in short bursts for the premiers.
“He is emotional and doesn’t take a backward step,” Cleary said after the win over Souths.

Leniu added on Tuesday: “Every prop has that mentality, and if you don’t have that aggression, you can’t call yourself a prop. It’s one of the good attributes I have.”
Leniu has another year remaining on his deal but is likely to leave Penrith given Moses Leota and James Fisher-Harris are the long-term starting front-rowers. The local junior has attracted plenty of interest – he passed on Craig Bellamy and the Storm a few years ago to recommit to Penrith – with the chance to play longer minutes his main goal

RTS looking at a return to league if he continues to get no minutes for the all blacks. This is one player fitz would have a relationship with that we should clear the decks for and try sign.
Probably looking at a mill for him. I love RTS but I don't know, if we think Dykes is next in line I'd put my faith in him.

Just realised he’ll be 30 next year. Thought he was younger for some reason. If he would be happy to come for for say 750k i think we should be all over it. Dykes can be our bench utility until Moylan retires then he goes straight to 5/8.

When are we allowed to talk to Nathan Brown from the Eels? Is it from November? He is signed @ Eels till 2023 but has issues with BA apparently and/or vice versa. It's ridiculous a player like him he has been trotting out in reggies but I think he has also come back from an ankle injury or something.

Just read an article that Parra gave him permission to talk with other clubs anyway - not in their future plans

He would tick alot of boxes of what we want from a Sharks forward. Hard working, impactful and has fire in the belly. Seen him play extended minutes as well. Pretty hasty for a forward and can cover lock and prop - can take over the Tolman roll but has much more impact with the ball. Heck you could start him with Rudolf and then bring the big units on from the bench.

Brown might be considered on the smaller side but he has no problem with go forward and Tolman wasn't a big bloke

Was one of the Eels best players previously and unless his issue is with coaches without hair he would be exceptional under the Fitz - just the type of player we need IMO
Think he's on better money than his form warrants. Not sure I'd want to take the gamble form drop is due to fallout with coach - maybe fallout with coach is due to form drop...

I wanted him last year but lost interest, limited amount I've seen him play this season has been poor.
If he was nice and cheap I'd be interested but don't think he'd take the pay cut.

I know some Panthers fans wouldn't care if they lost him, he's so unfit.
Have a look at his minutes

Even got dropped at one stage to work on his fitness - they made him play 74 minutes of cup and he ran 11 times and made 24 tackles.
Still, Fitz doesn't mind dishing low minutes to a forward and inevitably someone on the bench will play very few.
He's a long way from being an NRL starting prop - Penrith didn't even start him later in year when JFH was out.

I did bring this up a couple of weeks ago. He’s got 1 more year at parra so you would think they would gladly chip in for him. I’d take him on a 2 year with parra chucking in around 300k for his first year. He’s still got some good footy in him. Would be a good signing IMO.

Zero Tackle says 580k
So if Parra chucked in 300k for next year (doubt they'd chip that much in) that'd be interesting but I wouldn't want us to commit to 400k or more for seasons after that without seeing how he goes for us. If he has started to drop off we don't want to tie ourselves to that.
We already have Dale for that an he has been better and has better leadership and experience qualities.
280k of our money for one year I'd probably be interested, can then reassess if we want to extend and for how much.
Adds to our lock collection

'Whisper' in rugby of NRL 'contract on the table' for stunning Roger Tuivasa-Sheck return

Roger Tuivasa-Sheck has been linked with a bombshell return to the Sydney Roosters as his path to regular gametime with the All Blacks continues to be blocked.

The Dally M winner's switch to rugby has been a success overall, earning two Test caps off the bench after helping the Blues reach the Super Rugby Pacific final.

But the inside centre's Rugby World Cup dream remains very much up in the air following Jordie Barrett's outstanding performance at Eden Park and Anton Lienert-Brown's imminent return from a long-term shoulder injury.

David Havili wore No.12 for much of the Rugby Championship but the door appeared to creak open for Tuivasa-Sheck when he was ruled out of Saturday's Test against the Wallabies with concussion.

But instead of giving Tuivasa-Sheck his starting shot, All Blacks coach Ian Foster opted to switch fullback Barrett to the midfield, which proved a smash hit.

It leaves Tuivasa-Sheck as probably the fourth-choice inside centre when all players are available

The sombrero is in full swing there. There’s no way he goes there. They already got suialli and Tedesco playing fullback with manu also wanting to play there. RTS ain’t going anywhere to play on the wing. Bullshit story if you ask me.

I agree, although not sure Manu wants to play there. Seems content to be centre and fill in at fullback or 5/8 as needed.
If he wanted to play fullback he could get a higher paying gig easily.
Think he is happy to be a good cog in a good machine than to be a key piece somewhere the pressure is all on him.
Kind of a shame tbh, would be keen to see what he can make of it.

RTS should have a chat to Bennett, still need a fullback a big name and have money to spend.

Not really a prop imho, bench is his spot anyway.

The story about Brown not being required next year has been around for quite a while now. Interesting that there hasn't been any rumours about any links to other clubs (that I've heard anyway). Makes you think that he's not seen as being very good value... probably related to his pricetag.

Pretty sure his form was trash leading into that

At the right price I could definitely see a team pick him up who needed a Tolman type, say to help with a less experienced forward pack. Not sure who that is... maybe a Broncos or even Storm, since they're losing a lot of experience?

If RTS is an option, you absolutely make that happen. Assuming his form is still what it was. 3 year deal, bring Dykes through as a utility or 5/8 and if the move to fullback is on, do it after the RTS deal. Let WK go, which could give you half his deal and find the rest somewhere.

Sounds like Leniu is looking for a starting spot, so would be looking for a significant increase too. I like what he brings off the bench, I'm not certain he can recreate that as a starter.

He's probably looking for starting spot money but i'm not sure props care too much if off the bench or starting if there minutes are good and the money is good ? Could be wrong

Defn want to get him though, got lots of potential and not even close to realising it. Panthers wont be able to keep him.

Agree we don't need Brown... We do need a HARMEN PROP
Welcome back endevour.

Perhaps now you could set us all straight on what consitutes Harmen qualities in a prop.
