Walsh to Melbourne before linking witg Brisbane
Yeah I saw that one elsewhere too. ****ing hope not.

Fair play to NZ fans to be pissed. He wants to be closer to his kid, if he leaves early, it shouldn't be to another state.

I don't like players being able to change this close to finals.

That's just taking the piss if true .
Finals side needs someone desperately to be competitive, looks to teams that can't play finals and plays a game of golf .
If necessary to achieve outcome

It’s just sour having a good player in a bottom 8 side boosting a top side a month out of finals. TPJ did similar last year.
Depends how good a player you think Walsh is currently. Has his moments of brilliance. but makes a million mistakes.

It’s Walsh who is the winner here. He gets a few months to learn from Bellyache and be around uber-professional senior players.

As long as the NRL doesn’t bend the cap rules for it to happen, I don’t see a problem with it. Players move before the 1 August cut off every year. Sometimes starters, sometimes depth guys.

If the Sharks have some cap room they should look in to an off contract winger to replace Katoa. There is a bloke at Newcastle who I reckon snowman would like to sign.

Yeah Walsh can win you a couple of games a year through arsey brilliance, but isn’t a top 5 fullback that consistently performs.

Walsh is still an improvement to whoever is next in line at the storm. That’s what depth and development is for.

I assume this “Walsh to Storm” is all speculation based on him being dropped and the Storm losing Papps but the story has no real legs?

And by extension, future Broncos

Walsh is a decent player, but that's it. I haven't seen anything to indicate that he's going to be at the top echelon of the game.
Yes, he's still young, he's got plenty of time. Apart from that he hasn't set the competition on fire or anything.
