Hass plays more minutes and does more work than our top 2 props combined. Means u can run an extra cheapy or 2 in the front row and get away with it.
Well let's see...

BHU plays 34-44 and Finucane plays 52-65, so total that's 86-109. Hard for one player to beat.

In terms of tackle work BHU makes 16-23 and Finucane makes 26-45, or total of 42-67, so he has beaten their combined minimum twice this season, although not come close to their max with his 24-45.

For run meters (and PCM) BHU gives us 65-144 (25-60), Finucane 92-132 (20-59), total 157-276 (45-119) vs Haas' 159-254 (63-139). So he actually does do more work in terms of runs than our top 2 props some amount of the time. He has 2 games above 200m although our guys have two games where they are over 200m combined too.

I actually thought they'd score a bit better vs his stats tbh. He certainly does an insane amount of work.

(I didn't count stats from games Finucane or BHU got injured in)

Sure... assuming that the value of a prop to a team in NRL2016, is the same value as a prop to a team in NRL2023.
I think a prop has less obvious impact on a team now than then. Less likely a prop can be your game breaker or game winner now, but winning ruck perhaps more valuable than ever. I'd say value of a top props contract as % of cap may be a little lower?

Simply the best forward ive ever seen... but comes with an element of off field risk imho. Cld be increasing trouble for whole career.

Credit for actually doing the math I was just throwing out how much he does.
I’d currently not count Finucanes numbers tho as he has started lock more than prop.
Anyway at 22 he is close to the 15/16 seasons of Fifita on a regular basis while playing in a very poor club the past few years.
If he stays fit physically and mentally and keeps going the way he is, imo will go down as a Top 5 prop ever to play the game.

It got me wondering.

I'm not doing it again with someone else though.
I called Cam our lock and felt Finucane probably didn't do a wildly different amount the games he has started at 13 from what he'd do at prop. Burg may have a graph that disagrees.

At his age offering him a 5 year deal IMO is no risk for us. We should be all over this.

I actually don't think he will leave, we should still be asking the question though.

How selfish by Broncos if they refuse a request to leave from a player. Shouldn't matter how big the player is, if a player askes to leave they should never be denied. Hence why so many people dislike them too.
