Holmes is not ready for week in week out first grade. He is ready to cut his teeth for a few games in a row, back down to 20's then come back up again. Should do that with Clarke, Brown (when he is back) and Addo-Carr.
You'd hope they'll get a few games this season particularly if we're out of finals contention and the pressures off. Sticking with j wright and ayshford all season long does nothing for the club.

Or is this impossible due to salary cap ?

No way to Inu, we don't need another pea heart playing for us. Flat track bully if ever I've seen one. And for those saying he's better than Ayshford, big whoop. Raise the bar a little please.

I'll be really pissed if we're not in there making a play for either of the two young Souths hookers given they're both off contract at year end. Half the price of Ennis and could be around for ~8-10 years. They've both got what it takes from what I've seen.

Its hard with the cap and we will probably risk a fine but I think we should do it anyway it wouldn't be a large fine and it would be worth it for long term success.

so you want a guy who struggles for motivation to come to a club coming last and getting hammered from the media
Considering the price (200 odd thousand), the fact that he is the best available (for mid season) and the fact that in form he is one of the best backs in the comp. Yes, yes I would like us to take the risk on him.

At his worst he is still better than most of the backs we have got. (Which isn't saying much but it's the sad truth)

He isn't someone that I would pay big money for or even target in a normal situation but if we can get him mid year for 200 odd I'd take him.

I can understand people not wanting him but I think it would be worth the risk.

We don't have much to lose.

Inu is one of the most talented and freakish players in the nrl when on song.

But nah we are happy to have jonno and ayshford battling it out. FMD.

Would you rather have two retards in your team or someone talented as all **** but lacks a bit of motivation sometimes? Honestly it's a no brainer for mine.

One of them is cureable, the other sticks with you forever.

On the phone so can't be bothered looking, but how long has In been in the nrl? Roughly 8 years? Maybe 2 good seasons, 3 at best. Great strike rate. Yes he has potential but he's as lazy as they come.

We bought Jono to replace the likes of m.wright, I.gordon and stapo. We bought ayshford to replace pom. You don't replace **** with more ****, thought we would have learned that lesson by now.

And who is saying they want to keep jono and ayshford?

I don't care what anyone says, we can't pull big talent away from clubs.

We managed to get Lewis, who had issues with his own club.

Carney from the scrap heap.

Everyone is dreaming thinking we can pull high profile upcoming talent.

It all comes down to the competition. It seems to be us and the raiders throwing big money at Mansour. My money would be on the sharks winning that contest.

Don't forget that the rabbits are also looking to improve their backline.

I reckon he'll stay at Penrith unless there's a ridiculously massive offer from us or Canberra. I'm not as confident as you we'll win that race between us and Canberra.

i cant see it, penrith have a cheap option in kevin naiqama and have george jennings and DWZ coming through the ranks, they will be looking to shell big money to play potential youngsters and keep the cap balanaced.

same reason they let their second rower, robinson, go to the titans, because bryce cartwright will be in firsts next year
