We would be much better off going for Crichton out of he and Matto. Crichton at the expense of Graham and Nikora. If you put loyalty aside thats an improvement.
Angus and Teig would be a great pairing.

Probably would need some love for Fitz to leave Roosters for a fair price though. If we had to pay similar to what he is on now it would make it tricky to find someone else to be third man up (assuming Talakai stays at centre). Second row is an area we don't have any standout prospects coming through in.

Or obviously we do get someone okayish to be third man up (or even a top 17 quality players) but makes it hard to retain/recruit elsewhere.

Tend to agree. He's a cut above the bit part players they turn into regular first graders.

They could do what we always threatened and turn him into the next Gallen!

Yeah true, although I dont think he’d ever be the next Gallen (no one probably will be), I really want us to keep him because I feel he’s got a high ceiling with a bit of fine tuning, but if he goes to Melbourne, holy **** he could be anything.

Warriors confirm Volkman for '23.

I wonder where Metcalf fits in their plans.

Do we get a discount for missing a digit?

Rumours Jack Williams to the Storm.
I think this would be a shame, he was so good last year and can be a real cost-effective player for us. He would turn into a star at Melbourne.

The off-contract player I'd like us to look at is Isaiah Tass from the Bunnies. I think he is a right centre by trade but he looked pretty good on the left also. Let Nikora go, play Sifa and Tieg in the second row and save a heap of money.

Will be spewing if Williams signs elsewhere.

Totally agree very cost effective and I think underrated.

He is short and powerful and slows the ruck right down….

Agreed. Hasn’t found his groove this year as of yet but there is definitely a player there!

Moylan has said he isn’t keen on leaving Sydney btw. So that could potentially rule out the broncos/dolphins landing him. Only issue is no Sydney club I think needs a player like him. So makes sense if he signs whatever we offer him.

Yeah Williams would do good in Melbourne, assuming he buys into what they do. It's not an easy gig though, Bellamy will pound him in the off season fitness.

Walsh has come out and said he will be staying with the warriors next year and is looking to extend his contract with them.

Luke Metcalf just threw his phone across the room.

I really don’t know how he fits in there next season if Walsh is staying.

I don't know if his situation is better with us or them now, but they signed him and (knowing they still had Walsh and SJ) have since gone and signed another similarly or perhaps more touted half. Not what he wanted to see.
