Wonder if this is written to somehow stir SJ into a commitment or if that ship has sailed and its Moylan trying to up the anti in negotiations... I’d b happy enough to welcome him add finnacane and that would be a insane roster overhaul

That’s what I’m wondering, I’m curious if the SJ ship has completely sailed or if he had a change in heart/attitude he still might stay

I will say, despite the checkered past, Pearce does seem like a good bloke. He and the Knights eat at my missus restaurant every othet day and we’ve run into him a few times at the pub. Always shouting us a few beers and good for a chat. Im sure in his early 20s he was a right prick but i think hes grown uo slightly. 2 year deal on the right $ id be happy with i think he’d be a good foil for Hynes

Can’t say I’ve ever noticed one way or the other although I know he used to be good & kicking it down Billy’s thrower on tackle 5 clearing kick for about 8 or so yrs in SOO

Yeah he uses the end over end bomb that fullbacks seem to gobble up quite comfortably ..

He does have the runs on the board at club level though in all other areas...

He seemed happy Hynes was going to Cronulla and made similar one liners in the pre match interview with him.

You've spoken a few times about recruiting 2-3 middles. Out of curiosity, who misses out in your pack if we got say Finucane, Liu and Marty mentioned on the pod.

We don't really know what the conversation was behind closed doors I guess, regarding what (if any) the issue is.
But if we've told him we won't be keeping him now then I assume we'd need to beat any other offer by quite a bit to keep him.

No way we will get all 3 of them or even be able to afford, or even need all 3 imo.

Ah, fair enough.
It was a pretty detailed report though, even saying those players has told the rest of the squad. I don't believe a lot that I read but this would be so easy to discredit that I'm inclined to believe it
