Still amazes me how all you guys think we have Reynolds off the basis of a Hooper article.

You guys better have a good explanation if it falls over and doesn't happen.

Better then thinking about how much we get pumped by this week
Anyways isn't that how Morris got to the Roosters

Cronulla have ramped up their pursuit of Adam Reynolds with a three-year deal as the halfback merry-go-round gathers pace.

The Sharks are prepared to offer Reynolds $750,000 per season, as well as the security of a long-term commitment, to ensure they have a marquee replacement for North Queensland-bound Chad Townsend.

The Shire outfit may field an all-new halves pairing next year with the off-contract Shaun Johnson weighing up interest from Brisbane. The Broncos are also eyeing off Reynolds and Parramatta’s Mitchell Moses after losing Tom Dearden to the Cowboys.

Incoming Cronulla coach Craig Fitzgibbon has had discussions with Reynolds about joining him at the club next season. South Sydney won’t budge on their one-year offer and feel they already have sufficient halves cover should Reynolds depart.

Souths have extended the contracts of promising halves Lachlan Ilias and Blake Taafe until the end of 2023, while rising rake Peter Mamouzelos has committed until the end of 2024. The trio combined to deliver Souths a 2019 Jersey Flegg premiership with a thrilling 16-14 victory over Canberra in the grand final.

As I said yesterday, imagine losing Chad and gaining Reynolds for a net cost of $200k.

What an outcome for us!!

If we get him we'll need to protect him on the field like the Bunnies have always tried to do.

My method would be: smash Reynolds and Talakei will follow you around for the rest of the game ... and possibly afterwards

Either that or threaten them with a free meal from the Toup Kitchen's rodent bain marie.

Could be click bait from Courier Mail

Don’t count Broncos out of Reynolds race just yet
Brisbane has emerged as Cronulla’s greatest nemesis to their roster rebuild and they have the money to blow the Sharks away in the race for Adam Reynolds.
