The Bulldogs must be laughing their collective heads off.

-Jacked up our price on Fifita 10 fold.

-Sold us their ageing Hooker that will fill a gap for a few years for us and stole a future talent in Lichaa who will probably be their hooker for the next 4-6 years.

As for the Flash situation, well the hate train can roll all it wants but he is still the best option at 1. just can't understand why we can't do a wing/fullback defense attack switcharoo like the Roosters are doing every game and put Valentine Holmes on the wing.

Attack

1. Valentine Holmes
2. Siosaia Feki
3. Ricky Luetele
4. Jonathan Wright
5. Michael Gordon

Defense

1. Michael Gordon
2. Siosaia Feki
3. Ricky Luetele
4. Jonathan Wright
5. Valentine Holmes

Could not be that hard to implement. even for Sharp
lets just roll out all the local juniors each and every week and wait another 40 years for a premiership. I am really sick and tired of you "locals" singing the praises of holmes and co! Really, I appreciate you supporting your school mates or blokes that may have lived next door to you, but us die hard fans who have followed this team since their inception want to win a comp before we die. Juniors will get their go someday - somewhere - but for now I want to win a freaking game of footy! I AM HAPPY TO BUY A COMP (if we can afford it). If we do, this will set up a platform and culture which our juniors can thrive from. Right now - we are a basket case, and blooding any junior will either turn them in to complacent first graders or drive them to another club (aka Licha!).

So because you've been around forever you get more of a say than the rest of us?

Piss off mate i have only missed two games all year and pump literally 200 dollars a game into that ****ing club. Dont prance around thinking you know everything because you've been around longer than i or anyone else on here. Everyone wants to win as much as everyone else, but as you can probably tell, winning a comp is really ****ing hard and requires 100s of different scenarios to go to plan.

So stop your whinging and get to a game and support the boys.

What's wrong with putting juniors in if they're better than the current option? You'll never win a comp just buy buying players. Even the roosters put some faith in good young untested backs in Tupou and RTS. You can either blood good young players like Holmes and have a young side play together for years, or buy a bunch of experience at once and gamble on a rebuilding period in a couple years.

Blooding juniors really screwed up the Tigers, didn't it?

Manly blood young kids - have been a powerhouse and will continue to be as they blooded young kids who have at least 8 years left in the game.

Roosters blood young kids - now have a powerhouse team of experience and youth.

Tigers had a bunch of young kids when they won the comp, the list continues.

Honestly if the juniors are good enough they are old enough.

Good enough to be better than our current options?

Surely Holmes has met that prerequisite already.

Holmes would definitely be close.
He was asked and he said he's not quite ready (stated a few weeks back)

Yep, should definitely be considered for a spot for next year if not this year.

While Cronulla are strong favourites to snare Marshall, the Sharks are putting their immediate focus toward signing Bulldogs skipper Michael Ennis.

The Daily Telegraph can reveal Cronulla officials have discussed a three-year offer worth $1.5 million for the former NSW Origin rake, who has only been offered a 12 month extension from his current club.

Identifying the No. 9 jersey as their recruitment priority following the loss of Michael Lichaa (Bulldogs), Cronulla also expressed interest in South Sydney hooker Api Koroisau.

Just found this on twitter.
