Rothfield claiming Cronulla have all but given up on Holmes, as his manager hasn't contacted the club in two months in a sign he's already a done deal at the Cowboys.

Well that's pretty ****ing disrespectful of his manager if true given how long Val has been here.

Brent Read reporting that Cronulla have asked to be “kept informed” about Alex Johnston’s situation over at Souths, as he looks like he might be squeezed out.

I love Val and have been extremely hopeful he'll stay, but I'm pretty down about it all now. I'm 99% sure he's gone :(

might be an intentional leak from the club to troll rothfields "exclusive" and make him look a knob when Val extends with us haha

maybe his manager is out of credit and Flanno won't cover the flag fall??

He improved alot this year at Fullback not sure I want him there long term but probably prefer him there over Moylan as I don't want him shifted out of 5/8th. He'd be a good wing replacement but i'd say he wants to keep FB.

Intentionally left out Dugan, guy can't handle FB anymore.

That's pretty sad if true.

Oh well. **** 'em all. Stuff like this just turns me off the game a bit.

If it's all "just business" I don't really see any good reason to buy in as a fan.

That's harsh. Val is moving for family reasons.....not the cash. Can;t blame him for that
