As underwhelming as Holmes was at full back if we can sign Pearce I'm pretty sold on a Pearce/Moylan halves combo.

If we have the space for either Hayne or Pearce make one of them happen! 1 Hayne, 6 Moylan or 1 Moylan 6/7 Pearce. Either gives us plenty of potency.

Would need some special accounting for that!

Let go of your fear Harold. Barba was done as well. I know he's a circus but with a point to prove he could be the best player in the comp.

I don't think it's fair to compare the two. Barba was playing out of position at Brisbane, he just needed a bit of love.

Hayne is possibly the most selfish player in the game. As I said before, if he leaves the Tits it is unforgivable what he's done to Henry. He is not what you want at your club in terms of a decent culture.

Apart from that we have enough risk in the team with Duges and Moyza.

Hayne hasn't had a stand out performance since Origin 2014. Last stand out season was 2009 and even then it was only half a season.

Why would he have a point to prove? People throw money at him regardless, and he gives a **** about no one's opinion but his own. Maybe if no one wanted him and a 1-2yr deal at under $500K then he might have some fire in the belly to prove something, but he'd piss off to French RU looooong before that.

He has no ticker.

Hayne was moving to the titans to be their marquee player and savior though. He was all there was at parra. If he came to a strong side he'd just be another piece and with some strong leadership I think it would be a different story. The board had more to do with Henry then anything else. Bad management decisions.

He won the dally m in 2014, fair to say that was a pretty stand out season. Completely agree money wise though. Wouldn't entertain him for near the money he's on now, but if we could get him with titans paying massive freight i'd be happy. Wouldn't want us breaking 700k in the following year though.

I dunno about that. N.Henry is famously "all players are equal". Hayne was meant to be just another piece at the Titans – they'd made the finals the year before. Hayne will never be just another piece because to him, he's the only piece that matters.

Dally M is a popularity vote, and who else was gonna take points in the Eels side? Thats my ****ty argument anyway because 2014 was a year I've done well to forget; us getting the spoon and being there to witness the first NSW win in forever - **** 2014 and it's Dally M medalist.

In all seriousness , Snowman would you be happy with Pearce and Chad in the halves , Moylan to fulllback and Val playing outside of Dugan ?
