Would be front page news, and Kent talking about how it is a disgrace to the game if Sharks signed someone who had done exactly as Lodge. It a load of BS.
Bennet called Kent a liar earlier in the year about one of his reports so they don't really get along- If Kent felt the need to take a stab at the Broncs or Bennet he probably would, maybe Kent is on his 3rd draft as we speak...

Doesn't mean he or some other journo wouldn't give Cronulla grief if we were the ones that signed Lodge though:

Cronulla - Tavern of misfits and bad boys
Brisbane - homestead for the reformed and remorseful

It is. Carney had 8 years worth of **** ups. Thats why he shouldnt be allowed back.

Lodge has 1 huge 1 that should mean he is never allowed back. Id love to see the NRL and broncos sugar coat this 1.

People saying carney got the rough end for pissing in his mouth....that was the final straw not the only

Lodge has more than one incident, one of which is a disgrace.

No doubt. Both shouldnt be in the sport. Im just sick of everyone saying carney is being ****ed over. He dug his grave in 2008 as far as im concerned

Yeah I agree, talking in a relative sense.

The NRL doesn't seem to have any procedures in place for this kind of ****. Just make it up as we go along.

The way i see it, lodges punishment so far was the same as carneys after the canberra mess. Probably should have just wiped him out for life after the new york incident though

Moylan is an awesome signing but I think we have to chase Pearce hard - I think we are still one superstar short and Pearce will complete the puzzle.

Tend to agree. I'm not sure a Chad/Moyza combo will be good enough.

It doesn't matter. They'd basically share the kicking and (mostly) play on a side each. Pearce would probably be the main director but they'd both be calling plays.

Makes no difference really.

Yeah agreed just need them both on the park. If we don’t land Earle or a decent half/FB I think we will struggle next year. Maloney was a huge part of our team regardless of how **** he was at times. When he was on we were a completely different team
