Capewell can also kick goals. He wouldn't be first choice obviously, but he could do it in a pinch if the others went down.

Are there any genuine toe-pokers in the team? Used to be exciting to watch Dane Sorensen line up for a kick, not particularly good exciting though.

What about goal kicking winger Sean Watson ? Alan Wilson was also good.

Wilson was definitely one of my favourite toe pokers.

Had nothing on Carney as a kicker, read way too much of his own press and ended up quite early in reserves.

Carney 1985 top point scorer - toe poker that has the Sharks record.

Magnificent set of thighs as well if you're into that kind of thing.

really? you reward maloney for being a sook, whats to stop say, feki asking for a pay rise if aaron gray is on more than him?

whats to stop brailey asking for more than segeyaro?

if you cave to a player who wants more, then you set the tone to do it to everyone
Again, not my point. I'm not talking about money, never was. I'm talking about players not being happy at a club. If for whatever reason a player is unhappy at the club, then you have to solve it, or trade them. Or put your head in sand and hope it goes away. We can keep Maloney here next year to make a point about contracts, but the clubs the loser in the end, because unhappy players don't play well.

So we upgrade to make him happy or we trade him. The third option is just dumb.

Thats ****ing bull****. If a players gunna tank cos hes unhappy (about money) hes gunna drive down his asking price. Lets not forget he turns 32 next year. He wanted this pay rise/release for a new deal cos his playing days are drawing to a close. If he doesnt nail down a new deal here or somewhere else by early in the season, his on field performances become even more important to him.
