Not the point. Their contracts were negotiated at different times. He is definitely worth more than chad but just cos his deal went 1 year into this new cap, doesnt entitle him to an instant pay rise.

Spot on. He wanted the security of a 3 year deal, so thats what he got. Id happily pay him extra next year if it meant he stayed another 2 years or so but not just extra flr a year for him to then **** off after.

Yep he is a plodder, I did hear on either triple m or one of the AM band footy shows that he is happy to stay at Dogs & play NSW cup cause he is on such good $$ there - Flanno deal if ever I heard one

Thats why im asking. When the games on the line who are you going to turn to, to close it out. Maloney....not that pair.
As someone said earlier the club may have problems with maloney. I wonder if thats how roosters felt? They put up no fight to keep him. They offered him 2 years, why not 3? Could easily match our money with TOAs thrown in. Maybe they had similar dealings with him and his entitlement?
