Yep, he can seek a release if he wants from brisbane, would come in the form of a financial agreement you would think. Then he'd have to sacrafice salary to fit into our team here. I think at best, he plays a season at brisbane before a 'compassionate' release is made or something along those lines.

Not phased either way to be honest. Hes shown very little this year imo

I think his form this year could have a lot to do his contract situation. If he had re signed I reckon he'd be playing better right now.

Leutele doesn't want to leave, he is just in a rock and a hard place.
Titans have also pulled their offer for him on the back of Hayne re-signing. Someone will need to be released before they come back in for him.

seems crazy, i hear he waved the initial 10 day cooling off period as well, oh well, that's where you need a strong manager as well as parents to guide you, who knows, maybe they tried, maybe its all Jack, silly bugger.

Nah, not 100% sure but DCE made the NRL re look at contracts, dates etc & overall made them tighten up terms & conditions to avoid the farcical circus DCE & his management created.

Its like us signing guys like colin best and celebrating it. Is it an improvement....big time....but really its not going to be pushing them to the top end of the ladder any time soon. Ponga is the star signing and really i dont see what hes gunna do for them without a big forward pack and a quality set of halves
