So at 22 Kyle Flanagan will be good to go as a starting 7? Shane might want it but I can't see it.

Regardless of their relation. Shane and the sharks staff probably have a better understand of his and every other players development than u or i

at 18 years old jarrod mullen debuted for the knights, at 20 he played for nsw, so at 22 why cant kyle flanno play?

if we go to someone his level, luke brooks debuted at 19, moses at 20, chad townsend at 20, shaun johnson at 20

How do people rate our youth backrowers in Jayden Walker, Jack Williams and Billy Magoulias?
Can any step up in the next year?

I didn't rate Walker that much from the games I saw in NYC but he's playing for Newtown and training with first so I guess there must be something there. Can't comment on Jack Williams. Billy looked pretty good last Saturday, didn't see much of him last year but he's improved, got a nice offload on him.

None stand out like Frizell or Peachey did in that grade imo though.

I have believed for some time that the future halves pairing for the Sharks is Chad/Holmes. 2019. Holmes is a better halves prospect than Bird IMO.

What about J.Maloney, Do you think the sharks wont resign him at end of his current contract finishes 2018?
He is only 30 this season. still got 3 years in him.

I don't get why people see Val as a half. The way he moves you want him having as much space and freedom as possble i would have thought.

31 this year. Maybe give him a 2 year extension? Means he'd be 34 At end of that

And Chad at 26 is the only one of those guys who's achieved anything. And he's still developing. They can play at 20, but they ain't winning Comps and dominating till much later.

No argument. Guaranteed we'll have other halves before he's holding down a spot.

If he's still here he plays for sure. His next contract will be elsewhere for huge dough IMO. I'm talking post Jimmy.

You could say the same thing about Johnson though. Val has a kicking game too. With a dominant hooker and an organisational 7, he could own the 6 IMO. Not now, but with a few years of FB under his belt.

Johnson is a natural 5/8 has the ball playing, kicking & running game needed. Consistency is his only issue.
