Ok so it seems Farah is becoming a popular option on here, a one year deal with a transition into Brailey. My question, do you think Nu Brown has a future here? I'm still convinced that Brown should be our hooker next year.

Has is shown real promise playing hooker in the reggies? Serious question as I don't watch it.

Valid comment, but to be fair to the guy he is playing against some pretty decent opposition in those games.
I just worry when I haven't seen a guy play in a dominant way for a few years. And he'll be 33 next year. There seems to be a belief that if we get Farah, he'll make up for Ennis, but I just don't think that's possible. Ennis' two years at the Sharks will go down as one of the all time late career transfers in any position, both in terms of his form, and his combination with the team and the club as a whole. It's a remarkable thing to happen in a players final 2 years.

Who do you think could cover the loss of Ennis? Very, very few I'd say so it's not fair to compare whoever our hooker is in 2017 to him. Nu keeps getting mentioned but that would be a huge leap.

So did Robbie make his announcement today or was Hooper wrong again?

From what I've read he was possibly trying to make a statement to a reporter that he probably hasn't met before by being part of a rumour that he may have stayed out late.

There are reports that the Wests Tigers have insufficient funds to make a lump-sum termination payment to Robbie Farah.

The club is seeking to make periodic payments instead, with the amount to be paid remaining a subject of contention between the Wests Tigers and his future club.

The Rabbitohs have largely been the frontrunners in the race to sign Farah, with the Sharks also reportedly expressing interest following the retirement of Michael Ennis at season's end.

In that case how can anyone expect him to play hooker in the NRL next year? Seems a bit unrealistic to me.

As far as I know he occasionally switches to dummy half during the reserves game for a bit and when he trains with the top squad, he trains a lot at hooker. As far as I'm concerned, Nu is ready to go for first grade, he's too good for 2nds, even if his long term future is at halfback there's no way in for him there right now, hooker is his way in and he is very capable of being what we need at 9, especially if he trains there during the off season. He's ready now, either back him in first grade or let him go to a club that will, I think Manly could use him.

Money would be a big factor. Not knowing the bloke, I do know that it is not unusual for an employer to start treating a highly paid employee like cr@p to try to get him to leave so they can save cash. One day 5-7 years from now we will get the full story.

It's fair when people are wanting Farah to replace Ennis. He's tainted, old, overpriced compared to the alternatives and he won't replace Ennis. I just hate the idea to be honest. I'd give it to Nu and Cherrington.

I think we need to sign a better centre and left winger whom are improvements on Leutele, Beale, Feki. Also, would you take Luciano Leilua and Tony Williams?

Leutele has been OK this season - he's just been out injured a lot. I think a lot of people bag his defensive ability based on previous years, but I don't remember any poor efforts from him this season. Main concern IMO on that left side is the high ball - that side has given up 4 tries off bombs in the last 6 games - but Leutele wasn't on the field for any of them.

Anyway - we have plenty of options here if we think a change is needed:

Jordan Drew is a left centre, and can also play wing
Gagan has shown previously that he can play first grade
Capewell could also end up as a centre in the NRL. It's more likely that he ends up as a back rower, but I'd say he's first in line as a centre replacement right now (if we were to lose two of our starting 3/4).
