Thank you! I've been getting bitch slapped all over the latest gameday thread over this one!
To be fair I was mainly having a go at you for the way you were carrying on. Your opinion on Lichaa is different to mine so what. In general I agree with playing your best squad but when the difference is next to nothing I'd prefer not to develop someone for the opposition.

I'm yet to see anything from Lichaa to show that he is already better than DeGois although some others who have seen more of him claim he is. If he was staying I would play him over DeGois because we would be developing him for ourselves.

I would love to see Snow's scenario come to life with us releasing him and upgrading Brown.

Srama would be a great option but l think we need to look for a hooker that can develope in to an 80 min player. Carter from the Titans might be more the go. He can fill second row, he is quick out of dummy half, he tackles with meaning and young enough to develop the 80 min factor. That factor leaves 4 spots on the bench for forwards that can replace the weary.
srama plays 80 minutes does he not?

If we were looking for a young 9 the Broncos played a young guy last yr when McCullogh must have been injured, he was a curly headed bloke, lightning quick off the mark & seemed a tough little bugger, I cant remember his name but he impressed me, anyone remember him or what his name was?

Ha ha, McCrone, he has sort of proved me wrong, I used to think he was as an ordinary player as you get that played firstgrade but I admit I was wrong, in saying that he's a much better 9 than 7 imo.

I always thought McCrone would be a good first grader, never someone that would be picked for rep but a good club player. He did make me wonder at stages though haha.

i'd like srama and mccrone, along with brown. srama would be a shoe in for a hooker spot, so one of mccrone and brown can play halfback the other can be a utility

It would be better than having Robbo at half that's for sure.

haha, I could live with brown in the halves and mccrone/srama taking the 9 duties.
i guess the good thing about having both mccrone and brown in the same side is their versatility in being able to play both hooker or in the halves

I haven't seen a great deal of the 20's over the last few years but just my opinion I think at similar ages, brown is better then lichaa, however it would of been great to have both lichaa and brown in our artillery

a spine of
1) Johnny Holmes
6) Carney
7) Brown
9) lichaa

Would of been good to see going into the future, would be good for once to have a spine that we can keep for 5+ years
