I reckon the Warriors would take him back in a heart beat.Massive respect for him there.

Its just a question of whether his family wants to go back to Auckland.

"Cappy " Mcfadden is as good as gone.

He's the best coach below the very top tier - Bennett, Bellamy, Hasler and Robinson.

I'd be happy to see Flanagan sent packing if it meant we landed Cleary.

It would be interesting to see how Mick Potter went at the Panthers after being shafted at the Tigers.

I truly Believe that Mick Potter got dealt a real dud hand from the Tigers in so many ways So Cranky Shark your comment makes a whole lotta sense. This guy did a remarkable job with Catalans and was no slouch either

We would be silly not to keep Potter on our Radar

I can't see the Warriors taking him back. Why sign an all star team only to bring back your old coach, and it's not like he left and became a superstar. Seriously he'll be someone's assistant next year while he waits for a better gig, he may as well be ours.

They didn't want to lose him in the first place.

Wow, that's really surprising about Cleary.

Taking that side to a prelim a season ago, with a healthy squad I thought they'd be back in the 8 next yr.

Griffen's strength is bringing though young talent so I can see they've signed him. Uncle Wayne doesn't have as strong a side if Griffen wasn't there before him.

In your head, rent free
bingo

that is the reason cleary was sacked

if you look at penriths junior teams, they killed it this year. there were good young players screaming for a game and he continued to pick average plodders like david simmons

will smith wouldnt have had a game without wallace getting injured and yet, he has more attacking spark in his boot laces than wallace

griffen will be a very good appointment for them
