I'm honestly not a big fan of him and his defence is rather suspect. No way he could handle the second row

I think that the warriors edge defense in general is pretty is pretty bad, but I think this is because they have 4 massive outside backs who aren't the quickest and are slow as all **** to turn around. I think in the context of our side he wouldn't do so poorly, and what he'd bring in attack could easily outweigh anything else.

Gotta have some off field/attitude issues though if he's being dropped for Jono wright.

Hurrell as a centre is a beast, he's been real unfit lately but his lack of pre-seasons due to injuries definitely wouldn't help. Attitude problems perhaps, but his knobhead coach wouldn't be helping.

He's not a back-rower in the slightest.

We shouldn't even be mentioning Hurrell though, he plays right centre -> the young bloke we'll (presumably) have a right centre next year is more of a freak with no downsides.

Bird has shown that he can more than handle defending at the NRL level. I think defending at 6 this year will only help his translate to defending better at centre. I mean he's already getting targeted by big wide running 2nd rowers.

I dont understand the notion by some here that he'll struggle defending bigger centres. If anything the fleet footed centres in the mould of Jennings, Roberts etc will trouble him more IMO. But then again, who doesnt struggle against those blokes?

Won't happen, but imagine konnie off the bench just to roam in attack for pure impact...limited minutes maximin impact..

THE OTHER FORUMs GUN POSTER - on Curtis Scott possible departure .

I have heard that one of the big reasons that Curtis wants to leave, is we have signed a promising right sided Centre from the Roosters.
