yeah I get where you're coming from 1990, Lang era to this ... and the reason it came to this was pressure for a 1st premiership.

This should be celebrated by the masses, it should be a term of endearment rather than hate, what happened to going for the underdog? now it seems like kicking the loser while they're down, sorry state ...

once it is all behind us we will be a great team again but there is to much uncertainty and asada came out and said 4 people are in trouble, they kept seeing dank and hibbery off cronullas premises.find them and sack them. No one player is bigger than our club even if its gal and graham we need to move forward

So already started negotiations for Jesse Bromwich, and Tim Grant or Sam McKendry are apparently in our sights..

What would they go for salary cap wise roughly? 250/300k each for Jesse and Tim, and around 175/200 for Sam??

if fifita got 850 and graham wants 700k, front rowers are the highest paid players atm

bromwich grant and mckendry will get between 300-500k

Sharks targets 2015

After the fifita development I got in contact with some friends at the sharks and got a list of players on the hitlist wich did not include Tim Grant or Sam Mckendry the list however does include players with enourmous potential, starting exactly where fifita did 3 years ago.

Top priorities
Re-signing of Famanuu Brown, Wade Graham, Tinirau Arona and Penani Manumalili

The club has given Jonothan Wright a time frame to prove himself as the clubs starting centre...

Signings
Jesse Bromwich has emerged as the target for the sharks recruitment for 2015 however the club is still chasing an outstanding outside back to complement Todd Carney these players include:
1.Hymel Hunt
2.Tautau Moga
3.George Jennings
4.Carlos Tuimavave
5.Josh Mansour

*note* The sharks have also been in regular contact with Luke Douglas' management and a return to the shire is not far away.

The other forwards identified as key targets are:
1.Junior Moors
2.Albert Vete
3.Lloyd Perret
4.Sam Mataora

Hookers to replace the potential departure of John Morris
1.Slade Griffen
2.Matt Srama

This information was recieved in priority order, I have reorganised it and added players as to protect the identity of the staff member who has got in contact with me. This information has recently been sent and in no way meant to doshonour any current agreements with the sharks, purely to heal the wounds of the losses of 2 players whom the club has had enourmous hopes and support for over the last few years.

The loss of fifita is not as bad as we first thought. Without Carney he is another big unit with nothing but a fend.

Val holmes was signed to a 3 year deal in 2012, his extension will be negotiated.

1.) I think sign D. Fifita and get him to put in a massive pre-season like his brother did
2.) Throw Lichaa what he wants and give him the number 9 (before it's too late)
3.) Throw Fergo a lifeline (1 year with a long term promise if he stays focused)
4.) Use Fifitas money to throw whatever we have at a decent halfback like Cherry Evans
5.) Get Kevin Locke here to replace Gordon if he is retiring (Gordon to wing if he stays)
6.) lockup Brown and Holmes long term and invest in them

Interesting. None of the names mentioned (beyond our current players we need to re-sign) particularly excite me beyond Luke Douglas. Can you tell your friends at the Sharks that the fans are done with the JWright experiment? The man doesn't understand the meaning of grounding a ball in-field. For a dude with eyes a kilometre apart his peripheral awareness is non-existent.

Josh Mansour Yes!

Fergo can rest easy in a ditch for all I care! Please please don't bring him back.

Jesse Bromwich & Luke Douglas would be brilliant but I just can't see Jesse leaving Bellamy (unless pushed out), Hymel Hunt has done sweet **** all at 2 (3?) clubs now, so pass.

Glad we didn't pay overs for Fafita and I hope he goes all Tony Williams/Adam Blair for my own laughs, Lichaa's a loss but meh, he won't be the next Cam Smith, maybe the next Isaac Luke.

All I hope for is our "recruitment Dept (loool)" learn from Lichaa's loss and lock up the good talent coming through. Brown & Holmes in other words.

Fafita leaving + ASADA will leave a poor taste in the mouth this entire season, cannot (unless Carney hits Dally M form again) see this season amounting to anything.. No spoon but definitely no finals either. Happy to be proved wrong.

Ffs it's Fifita not fafita.
Blake Ferguson is (awaiting apeal) a convicted sex offender now isn't he? The NRL will not register a contract with him. We don't want him back anyways. Do you all not remember how he left us?

What's he want a good morning text every day or something ?
Nope just a convo with the head coach would be nice to let him know if he is in the plans. Has not been spoken to by the head coach about what he needs to do to get into firsts.

In fact none of the NSW cup guys get spoken to much even the top tier contracted players.
