I dont think either one is worth 800k but if it was me having to choose one over the other I would go with Sezer, Sandow is literally rock n diamonds, its only been 4 rounds but he has actually been ok in most games (Warriors game was ordinary) but for the past three years he has definitley been more rocks than diamonds.

& being off contract.

He was excellent last year too.

Really, the only years he struggled were his first two at Parra playing under Stuart and behind a crap pack. He also had some pretty serious off field issues and its a credit to him that he seems to have overcome them. I suspect its never been his game but people's perception of him - as mouthy or arrogant or something - that's more the issue.

Outside those two years, he's always contributed. My only queries have been over his defence and whether he had that deep competitiveness that makes the best playmakers dominate. I think he's developing that maturity and its showing in his game.

I'd love him here, especially paired with a big, tough 6. He's genuinely creative - he puts on linebreaks and tries. And he has fun which makes watching him fun.

Sandow or Hodgo ?

Depends on Barba - where he plays/whether he stays.

Sandow is more talented, his body is in better shape and he's playing much better football. Hodko the better temperament and a more solid defender.

In answer, probably Sandow. But it won't happen and I can't imagine Flano being able to get the best out of him.

PS: I know you didn't mean Brett Hodgson but if/when I become football Tsar I'd make getting B. Hodgson in as our skills/attack coach in a priority. He would be a wonderful mentor for Holmes.

I don't dislike Sezer. He's been handy for a while. Quality kicking game yes.

But is he really as good as many here are making out? $800k good?? The Titans have struggled for points with him at 6. He hardly takes the line on and his passing game looks nice but rarely puts his runners into holes. I can't remember seeing him dominate a game.

He's by no means a bad player but is he really that good? The term 'playing in a dinner suit' comes to mind.

The exact same could be said about hodkinson. I rate sezer higher than him, does more in a ****ter team

Exactly. So I don't really understand why there's so much arguing going on.

I don't really buy the suggestion that Sezer does more though. The Titans have been a very hit-it-up off the ruck team of late. They have possibly even less attacking structure than us (at least prior to this year, haven't seen enough of them yet).

One advantage Hodkinson has is his experience in big games.

Well there you go folks, we have had the equivalent of the NSW Origin halfback (minus the kicking game but with more experience) in the 7 for the Sharkies for a few years now, pretty incredible turn of events this is

Don't blame Robbo anymore and learn to appreciate what you've got or you will never be happy. Robson makes up a long list of Cronulla halves that have been good enough for the state of origin arena. Our problems just might be more deep seeded than who we have at 7

What half backs would make Barba look good? IMO only DCE would. So we need two halves. I'd be happy with Sezer + Chad.

It is like saying a really gross chick would be just like scarlett johanson if she had the looks of scarlett johanson, because they both have the same personality now.

Welp that is great.
