I have heard not sure how reliable the "sauce" is but Stacey Jones has really mentored Chad over the off season. Maybe that is why we are seeing improvements.

If that is the case then I doubt he would have improved much if at all here .

I also don't think hodkinson is the answer and I think coming here would highlight the short comings in his game.
We need a half that can create. Ennis can direct from 9 but a player with flair such as sezer or sandow would take that 'big play' pressure off barba and allow him to unlock his game.
For what it would take to get him here he is not worth it. I'd rather throw a mil at sezer than 800 at hodkinson.

I really like what I've seen of elgey also, looks to have all the skills just a few nerves stopping him from unlocking them In the top grade. Hopefully he sees a bit longer in first grade to show his worth.

If we were to go after a rookie again I'd put the Cornish name forward, he's the one with the boot that we'd need. But Sezer has to be the one we look to sign, surely.
