Wow, I thought I would be the only one that doesn't like it.

Fitz's words are pure poetry and very true - those who are parodied don't get why but still think its funny. If you take away the mindless swearing its even less funny, so I really believe that is what you are all laughing at.

chad i think if u saw we can be heros you might like that. it was quite clever and it was when all his jokes were fresh. and even summer heights high. no matter how much u dont liek him, you cant take away his ability to portray multiple characters and multiple personalities and do them pretty dam well. his mr G character was pure gold. also his portrayal of that real aussie black in we can be heros. the scout leader. so god dam funny

I saw a bit of "We can be Heroes" but didn't like that either. Sorry guys, its just not my thing. My wife absolutely loves it, which annoys me even more, along with Kath and Kim, another totally useless show which grates on me. Surprising as I do like the actors in that one, but in other shows. To me, the characters are just not funny and as I have said previously, they send the message that its cool to swear, its cool to disrespect people and its cool to behave like a total pork chop. As for Mr G, mate I do a lot of school visits in my job to talk to kids about getting apprenticeships and traineeships and I have never come across someone like that. It is way over the top.

Mark, what I like is probably going to draw raspberries from you guys because if you like Chris Lilley and I don't, then what I like is going to way different. But here goes and I'll try and protect myself from the abuse.

Here is my top 5:

MASH
Frasier
Kingswood Country (probably too long ago for most of you)
The Marx Brothers (again, probably too long ago for most of you)
Spicks and Specks (so sad they are finishing up)

Now you may all say - :dougy: but there you are.

Summer Heights High was his second show actually.

The twins from the current series, and Ja'mai or whatever her name is from Summer Heights High, are all from the first series (We Could Be Heros), which I reckon is the best one.

Yeah, I watched 'we can be heroes' when it came out. Cannot really remember the characters besides the twins and Ja'mai. Though it was decent, liked summer height high the most. Even though summer heights high did ruin my life with all the 'ranga' stuff coming out from it.

Spicks n specks used to be good but i think they have ran of good guest with any music knowledge,
And Mif and Allan are too good they answer most of the questions.

Summer Heights and We Can Be Heroes were much better than Angry Boys. I have enjoyed Angry Boys, but it seems just more of the same now. The S.mouse character is really crap though.

I cringe every time he drops the N bomb.

He said something about a real Shark at some point. Nothing to do with footy.

It is on next week, and from the preview he said "as you know we had the sharks side here a couple weeks ago..." and then cut out, and as i was typing this, it happened to be on IQ and i heard it again. Definitely a sharks reference in next episode.

No doubt it will be a reference to gang bangs, rape or racism.

It's going to be shown on HBO in the USA. So, at least we will get the American exposure that ben was creaming himself over in the Russell Crowe thread.

Happy Days.:cheers
