No I can remember what he can play like. Didn't do it tonight!! The crowd was happy to call him a 'dog' tonight in the ET stand.

Based on tonight's performance he can go on that money. We would be better off trying to outbid the other team on ref payments. What does it cost to get the refs to ignore the offside and forward pass rule for one team?
yeah and plenty of people including myself joked about that, but Jesus to carry on like you're glad he is going and he isn't worth the money like some people ate saying is nothing but pure bitterness

I have no interest in bad-mouthing him at all. He's an amazing player, and I hope he stays with us.
In saying that, I dont feel (personally) that he's worth 800K a year, or a similar figure.
I recall Bennett, when hed just signed with Knights and Tinks had offered Kade 450K or whatever it was. He said that no prop was worth more than 350K. Any chump can run forward, and you keep your dollars for the players that make a difference in every play.
Now Fifita is no average prop, I think we can all agree on that, and in a club such as ours without tons of ability it would certainly be a shame to lose him, but again, he's not worth ridiculous $$$.
He either stays for decent money, or goes for good money. And if he does that latter, I wish him well, and the club he ends up signing for not so well, haha.
Some may be bitter. Im not. but I dont want us to throw the bank at him either, as it would be just plain stupid.
mate what a ridicules post, that kind of sanity isn't welcomed in this discussion

Repped, well said mate

Yep, 4 years at 7 or 800k is a massive gamble with a prop.

If this backfires for the doggies .. they'll have a Dave Taylor on their hands ... or an extra T-Rex

300k per year is a lot for a young hooker without 1st grade experience too but I think Lichaa will end up being a decent buy for them long term

yep exactly, the money he is asking is huge for anyone let alone a prop.
He has too many flaws for the money he is asking

Its not just an average game. Its a dog arse game. Im cool paying him 800k but if he puts in a performance like that he can go.
Good riddance. You want players who have pride in the jersey, not some 2 bit dog who is thinking of his fat pay check next year.

Pointing out the obvious does not equal bitterness, just the dogs are paying way over his worth. I'm more upset at us continually losing up and coming players under 23 with large potential, who only ever wanted to stay at the Sharks, at the expense of guys at the end of their careers!!!!

I really think the Bulldogs were better off re-signing Graham.

The game is faster under the new rules and workhorses are going to be more important than they have been for a while.

Having a team full of explosive big fellas can be a bit hit and miss, just look at the Warriors sides of the last 20 years.

I know Fifita can play longer minutes than a lot of the other big boppers but he ain't no Graham.

I say we take the money we had for Fifita and throw it at Graham.
