Agree Mate. The NRL is a business and Coaches use their best assets at every possible opportunity. There really is no room for sentiment, irrespective of whether a player was probably instrumental in a team winning a premiership.

I'm sure Fifita is aware of this, especially after almost dumping the Sharks for the Doggies a few years back. Since then, apart from the odd controversial incident, he has been a good club-man.

I don't feel very confident about Fifi's legs coming good any-time soon and I also think that Bomber is giving him every chance for a miracle recovery.

Time to go big fella while you are still able, maybe spend a season with the twin in the UK.

To answer this... it depends on if you are talking about the short term or the long term.

JM might be looking at our cap and what he can do to sort it out.

No one here can convince me based on the pre season trial he played or the indigenous game... that he isn't going to be offering more than Magoulias at current.

If you want to argue Magoulias is offering more - show me it.

While I can’t back him to get a game just for the sake of it it does suck that we actually might have already seen Fifitas last sharks game, especially if he changed clubs. Pretty **** way for the big man to go out

Strongest evidence right now is simple, Billy makes the 17 and Fifita doesn’t.

If that's your greatest argument then no one should slag chad off as needing to be dropped simply because he is named.

Ridiculous. Let's not even bother discussing the named side.

People can be critical of him of course. I am.
I also have no evidence we have a better option and I won’t cry for Trindall to come in simply because he isn’t named Chad

Surprised everyone wanting Fifita back hasn't been watching him play for the Jets, you know, so you know what you're talking about.

How was he? In hindsight I'm glad he didn't get the call up last night. Dunno if his knee would have held up if required to play 80 minutes

Would anyone disagree that a Fifita 90% of his very best off the bench for 15 minutes each side of half time is worse than the other forward candidates ?

Could be a master play by the coach .
Could of played him week 1 , still win without him ( Fitita disappointed )
Week 2 , coach wants to play him but compresses the spring and susses out Williams and Mags capabilities and rewards them fo another weekr for their off season efforts ( Fitita pretty pizzed but GREAT club man) manager leaked to be looking around .
Week 3 , Fifita did well 2 weeks ago NSW Cup but still named 17-21.. Spring fully compressed and Fifita itching to play first grade .
Morris gives him jumper 17
WATCH OUT PARRA

Must be using an industrial strength spring mate - it might fire the big fella up mentally and emotionally to wanna rip in hard if/when he get's selected for a future game but if his body can't follow it won't matter and is prob why a comparatively average but fit player in Billy M is getting selected over him

Judging by some takes after viewing first grade I doubt it'd matter.

bring back the NSW Cup Specialist!

I'm keen to know how Andrew's defense has been for the Jets cause bomber alleges that's what he is there to fix

yea that could have got messy for us and poor Fifs not being able to be subbed off

Perhaps the Big Fella's best chance to make the 17 with Nikora out . ( Wilton to right edge )
If he doesn't make it this time probably wont again with some of the other troupes returning in the near future .

Yep will be interesting to see if he or Trindall gets named. A big opportunity to make a case for whichever one gets the run.
Technically there are others who could be named but think those two would be most likely.
