He missed one tackle, his defence was up 10 fold
He works hard in D and makes most of his tackles, it's lateral efforts when things don't go as expected, or sometimes some lazy efforts and he doesn't have the acceleration to recover them that are his issue.

Struggles to get up quickly in tackles, fitness or injury and his reputation will always result in 6 again calls against us.

looked alot closer to his old self than many games in the last 12 months. fitness and agility looked alot better too
good game, had an impact with his carries and put some muscle into his defense

Knee is stronger now and like Moylan nurturing his calf injury .
If it repairs , watch out , the Big man will do some damage .
There were good signs during his 2nd half stint in particular.
I wouldn't go that far – he's a Sharks legend, and he's still doing a serviceable job.
What I would say to him though, is that he's too senior a player to be giving away all those penalties.
His youth was an excuse and his explosiveness made up for it, but he has neither anymore.

Bomber played Fifita just about perfectly tonight. We really needed his startch in the middle of the park to match the Dogs forwards. It was a good, tough exchange all game and our whole forward pack followed his example.

So are the Roosters and we'd be lucky to have a 5% chance against them with our current team and efforts.
They don't have a bench forward on 800k who goes decent for 30 minutes once he's got all his dumb errors out of the way for the game.
Swap Fifita for another Rudolf or BHU and spend the difference to fix up the lock problem and our forward pack is way better.
Yes I'd rather get that effort from Fifita than nothing but his pay packet is hurting our squad (no, it's not the only thing)
