https://www.nrl.com/news/2020/06/17/mostly-best-ive-ever-been-bulked-up-fifita-rejects-claims-hes-unfit/ and anyone tell me if they think current Fifita is even close

I've been working on a similar theory during lockdown too.

That was his first game in how long ? I'd give him the benefit of the doubt after his first game back in ages.

12 runs for 116m with 4 tackle busts.

Certainly not his best game but interested to see how he goes the next few weeks.

Also appears that he won't be doing long stints anymore which is good.

He tucks into a ball around the footy and the rest of our team push from behind like a giant cartoon boulder

Opposition scatter like pins before a weighty ball.

God help them if there's some side-spin.

Is first few runs in game 1 before injury looked promising also .
Hopefully close to his NEW 100% in a few weeks time , if that calf injury has fully repaired

Bit unfortunate for Andrew.
Bulked up for high impact low minutes.
( We needed some size ) in the off season .
Rules change after two rounds and that shape less effective .
Gunna have to try and change shape again .
Always had one of our best motors , looks like lean , fit and lateral ( for defending mainly ) more important now in the latest version of the game

Yeah stacking kilos was a bad idea as it turns out.

If at 119kg he felt too light though I feel incline to suggest strength was more the issue than weight.

even if he is oversized for the new rules (which is an arbitrary determination a few weeks in) ****s still need to tackle the bloke and teams still need size and power in the middle otherwise just play a team of backrowers

issue is his power and fitness, if he can find that maybe he will be effective. otherwise he slims down and maybe gets a tad quicker but is still just a relatively ineffective version of his former self, perhaps just a solid plodder

Rudolf is the prototype kinda middle forward you need now I would say regardless. youth is where it is at now in regard to the forwards, which is what makes brisbanes results even more of a joke considering the pack they have

but yea still need good dummy half and fullback play off the back off any hastey go forward and lets not forget the halves

He needs to play 30 mins in the middle of the game I reckon. Swap with Woods. He can’t be there at the end.

has the bonus effect of not having Woods and Fifs on at the same time. those 2 get very lazy defending on the line, dummy halfs expose us alot
