Forcing a pass. Just silly little things.

Keep him on the bench next week. Woods and Prior were outstanding tonight, no reason to change.

Yeah just stirring. He feels a bit like when Bird was coming to the end of his career. An anachronism. Just wish he could figure out 2019 Rugby League. He has all the natural attributes to dominate.

He just has to simplify his game. I think he is trying to hard, that extra effort he does is the second effort in a tackle (Penalty) or pushes that offload (error)

We know what he can do just get trough some simple goals per game.

I agree. He came on and tried too hard to make an easy impact. I admire his determination to get us the win but just run hard and get fast PTB.

I think everyone is reading too much into the commentary on this bloke. He did a good job. He ****ed up against the warriors... let it go.

He came on, gave one of the most normal penalties away. Missed a tackle.
But then his 3 offloads set up great early spreads which absolutely killed the rabbits. Did his hit ups job. Tackled hard and brought us abit of grubbyness in the ruck which we need these days.
His last offload was the dodgy one.

I think morris got the starting line up and bench perfect. So keep fifita hungry playing that 45 minute role off the bench.

He was decent last night but was guilty of trying to hard. And after Townsends comments about him I was half expecting it. He just needs to realise he doesn't need to play that way. Just needs to worry about running hard and straight and getting over the advantage line, that's when he is at his best. Just needs to simplify his game

We had all the momentum last night, one clever try aside, he immediately gave away a dump penalty then missed a tackle to let in a try.
Largely redeemed himself but that’s just typical him, typical of the dumb errors and penalties that have plagued our starts this year.

We’re paying far too much our 3rd best prop

I love when he runs straight.

we need andrew to hit form come the right time of the year; and by this I mean strong runs, carrying blokes. and reduce stupid errors/penalties.

that said, we still need to make the finals

This bloke won a GF for us. We need to take the time to get him right.

True, but it doesnt give him a pass for every **** up. Hes not a young kid playing silly. He is a highly paid veteran now. If he gets the **** out of his game hes best on field most weeks. But he literally walked on, penalty into a missed tackle for a souths try. Not on for a guy of his caliber

Always the way when a player is looking for an extension... ;)

Would it be worth keeping him next season? I'm not sure we can afford to carry him for the first half of the year. He's not a starter and really does need some careful handling to get him through a season.

Assume you're talking about Gal? I'd be seriously wondering about tarnishing his exit if he had to try push through another year. Has already had some real low impact games this year & only two or three of Gal standard.
Another pre-season and full season would quite possibly be too much for the old fella. As a fan of the guy I wouldn't want to see him playing from the bench or even fighting for a spot and I think that's where he'd be in 2020.

He's not quite Tom Brady.
