Firstly congrats fifita on nsw, you highlighted last night exactly why you deserve your spot. Secondly, what ever happened to his brother? I remember they were both at the tigers and then I think it is dave or david? has vanished... I wonder if he is still playing and is worth a look at. Andrew has improved out of sight since coming here, maybe we could have the same effect on his brother, plus he could come cheap

Just googled him and there was actually an article in the leader yesterday that said he is playing lower grade overseas

Not in place of Fifita, But playing along side him would be pretty bloody good.

jesus christ... fifita and snowden would of been a good front row.

i wasn't taking a stab either mate, just remember the meltdown when luke and kade left, now it doesnt seem like an issue for some reason?

I personally was more disappointed about losing Douglas than Snowden. I was pretty worried when we lost both but knew we would bounce back, props are pretty replaceable.

Sharks want to lock-in Fifita
The Sharks will open contract-extension talks with boom front-rower Andrew Fifita after the State of Origin. The former Tigers tearaway is locked in until the end of next season but coach Shane Flanagan wants him on a long-term deal. Fifita emerged from Monday night's battle with the South Sydney pack as arguably the game's No 1 front-rower. Remarkably, he shouldn't even be at the Sharks. If Nathan Tinkler hadn't have personally contacted Kade Snowden and convinced him to join the Knights when he was on the cuts of re-signing at Cronulla, the Sharks wouldn't have signed Fifita or Bryce Gibbs from the Tigers
