fifita the meter eater

Indeed, and he's still hungry!

He's still young for a prop. If he keeps his intensity imagine how good he could be in his late 20's considering he's already incredible this season.

He is fitter this year and it is showing in his energy and endurance.

Funny how things work out. Like most of us I was quite devo at losing Snowden and Douglas but I definately think we've ended up with the better end of the deal with Faffita and Gibbs.

bloody oath we got the better deal, snowden has a muffed back, and douglas while i thought he was great for us, is a shadow of his former self with the titans,

gibbs not only brings his playing abilities, he brings fun and unity, and we can all see what fifitas doing haha

I think a lot of credit should be attributed to the forwards coaching staff.

You look at all the forwards who have come to us and the calibre they reach after being with us for a few years (nevermind Tupou). And the dramatic decline of Douglas and Snowden after they left. even Ross had a couple of poor years away from us at the Bunnies.

Im pretty sure we got him back because Bunnies didnt want him and he was happy to get paid $80,000/season to repay his $400k he got paid for 2 seasons on the sideline

Yeh ok, there were probably elements to those reasons as well but I still think he went ok & he did play a decent amount of first grade for a club that had a decent roster in terms of forwards.

He had a really good year for the bunnies, the season before we got him back. They had a heap of injuries to the forwards that season and he stood up.

Every time I open up the footy news sites lately there is just emmense praise being heaped upon Fifita. So good to see him being recognised and its ****in good for the Sharks that he's improved his game to this point.

I can't believe he's not up near the top in the Dally M's, I know its hard for a frontrower to poll but he been unreal for us.

He would have got Dally-M points in almost every game we've played this year if they weren't awarded by absolute ****wits.

I would think Tamou wouldn't play anymore than 50 in origin. I can see Gal moving back to the backrow for Lewis or Hoffman to come off to see Merrin or Fifita to come on as a front rower.
