Gal game II 2011 vs Fifita game I 2017

... and, go!

Gal. Played 80, broke all sorts of records for a forward and bashed the peak QLD team off the park

great question though, the 2 most dominant games in the last 12 years of origin have come from our boys

Fifita playing that well in origin did us no favours. Every club will now want him and we are going to pay alot more to keep him.

Good thing for us is we can offer him an extension now, other clubs cant offer him anything for another 5 months.

The reality is, he is going to get a mil a year thereabouts deal somewhere. It may aswell be here

Yeah I reckon he'll test the market for sure though, including European Rugby. I'll bow down and worship our management team if we could get Fifs extension done before he hits the open market.

I'd be surprised if he left us. I'd be shocked if he left League tbh.

I wouldn't be surprised, he's said publicly in the past that he wants to chase the money in European Rugby once his 'business' with Cronulla is done. If 'business' means winning the title, then his business might be done.

This is only my thoughts so therefore probably bollocks but i reckon he's the kind of bloke that if the club shows him a bit of love (which it seems to) and gives him a decent offer moneywise he'll sign without testing the market.
