I think once the NRL integrity unit gets their hands on it the club is meant to just let them do it.

But **** it. You can't just have this issue floating around.

Pity all the talk isn't about how he produced one of the best front rowers games ever in a grand final. Instead he gets shafted by not being named man of the match, not picked for his country and his name getting dragged through the headlines.

I bet if Parra played the GF, won, and Semi had a blinder it would be a different story.

This just gets me fuming, fifitas obviously no angel but even that stuff with the referee last year was blown miles out of proportion. Much more serious incidents occur from other players that are gone and forgotten within a few days but for some reason the media see it as their duty to demand fifitas penalties be ridiculously harsh and the spineless nrl are only too happy to oblige.

I do get the feeling that the tide of public opinion is turning on this issue.

At the beginning it was a free-for-all against Fifita. Now people actually seem to be thinking a bit deeper about it. It's a pity that it's taken voices like Alan Jones and Miranda Divine (both of whom I generally loathe) for people to think about it in a bit more depth.

Yeah I agree mate.

I posted this in a different thread yesterday but ********s like Hadley getting on his case is laughable. Remember Hadley threatened to punch a colleague in the head a few years ago? So it's OK for him but not others?

The man on the street thinks Fifita bashed a 12 year old ref. No joke.

Yes it is. Old School white blokes wanting to punch on is okay. It's about being a fair dinkum bloke.

Young fellas (particularly of a non-white backgrounds) are criminals.

Good point and come to think of it he was way over-penalised for the ref thing.

They're still not satisfied even after they get their way.

Thurston abuses refrees when they even look like losing a game. Maybe Fifita should start wearing headgear and give it to a fan at the end of each game.
