yeah same. That's why I didn't get all this talk about resting players before we even saw how many minutes our blokes played
After SOO 1 I wasnt worried about fifita but i thought he'd play a lot more after his last few rounds. Id still be resting gal, jimmy and fifita at different stages, but esspecially the first two.

My thought process is the rigors of 26 rounds usually test most players, especially the older ones. Chuck in the fact that the origin boys train over the bye periods and you'd have to imagine it is only tougher.

That said only those inside the team know the real answer. They are all experienced players so if they are fresh and say they feel good then you play them. However if they have a niggle or a generally beat then it is a no brainer to rest them and let them freshen up.

one thing I have noticed is quite a few of the boys have talked up andrew gray and how good he has been for their recovery and getting their bodies right.

Not wrong there. We are in a good enough position that youd have to believe if the players need it they will get the break. At the end of the day no one should complain if we can get our top 17 out on the field as much as possible.

Just watched it.

In the promo they said something about Andrew Fifita and something about it being shocking.

The story was that he supports Semi if he chooses Uniom over League and that he'd do the same thing if in his position.

Wow is that classed as shocking? The standard of journalism in Australia, the Knights defence, Daleys origin selections. These things are shocking not a footballer agreeing with another blokes decision on where he plays football. FMD

I don't think anyone here would blame Fifita for going to Union, but just see out your contract and don't break it. Also, deliver us a premiership, that'd be nice!

He'd have to get a new haircut if he went to Union.

The Fifitas would be The Paxtons Mark 2.

Where's Ray Martin?
Paxton's and Corey Worthington's heads should be put on our next run of new currencies, as Aussie non legends.... Current affair interviewing at its finest, "take you glasses off Corey"-- "nah you can't make me"..

In your head, rent free
lets face it, anyone would chase the money

when we chase jobs we looks for a pay rise, not a pay cut

i for one, dont chase a better job, i chase money

i have kids and rent to pay, as well as a car loan and a credit card, to go with a wife who drinks like me and loves to eat nice food

i dont blame any player for taking the money and running

they have one career

we are not the ones who have to deal with bad ankles, bad knees, shoulders, torn muscles, post surgery ect

we get hurt when a good player leaves and cheer when we poach his replacement

good on fifita for not towing the line and saying mate its about loyalty then chucking a snowden

Fifita is just stating the obvious. Binding players to contracts where the player is going to get a fraction of their worth else where during a large slice of their contract is pointless.

Good luck to semi!

I really don't give a **** what any player does, but if they have a contract they have certain obligations they need to fulfill.
They fulfil those obligations when they pay out the contract and move on to greener pastures.
