Sound to me that he did a lot more than what is being reported to inflame the situation, as has been backed up by eyewitness
Reports from the St Pats captain. I think he has stuffed up royally, as well as the twins, and is now covering up his own
Stuff up. I'm sure once all the eyewitness reports are revealed we will know more,
The fact that he says in his own official report that he recorded it, why he either didnt or did record it and deleted it,
Makes me question his entire version of the event. It's a massive hole in his story. If he is covering up something this is exactly how you do it.

What is the ref's motives though? A long running beef with the Fifitas?

The only vaguely credible theory would be some kind of fifteen minutes of fame type scenario, but the guy has supposedly gone to ground which makes that seem unlikely.

Sounds like an attitude problem , same with the twins. I don't think it's a publicity thing.
And going to ground sounds suss to me. Sounds like he has something to hide. We will see if that is the case soon enough,
Don't get me wrong I don't condone what happened but I don't think the ref is an innocent victim I this.
I think his behaviour is complicit, and the stories coming out are painting that picture. Stories that the main stream media
Are either skipping over or ignoring completely.

Things have changed very fast- just watching Monday night with Matty Johns and the while Lara reported ( with some objectivity I might add) on the incident , the rest of the panel were very careful not to talk in specifics as to what Andrew or David did or didn't do....vastly different to their attitude on Triple M

I'm guessing that after the Fifita's have lawyered up there are now a few in the media that have been advised to shut their mouths or face defamation proceedings- particularly as some of the facts have been grossly mis reported.
