Especially since Frizz only got 2 for TKO ing Brown!

Different charge but agree.

I know they say u shouldnt be punished for the injury but in the real world if i punch u i get charged with assault. If i punch u and break your jaw i get charged with assault causing bodily harm.

If a guy gets stretchered off there should be an immediate extra week if foul play caused it, on top of the tackle charge. Just the same as my charge would be worse if i hurt you by punching you

In your head, rent free
I would assume taking the guilty.

Its a shame they do it this way, the basically force you to take the early guilty plea so u dont waste their time. 4 games is rough though imo

there is no way 4 weeks is rough for this

the NRL has spelt it out numerous times for these cavemen... lift in a tackle and face the consequences

he lifted, have a holiday and think about it

Should I be worried???

But i dont reckon his lift was bad. No need to lift though especiallly in a tackle where everyone is basically still. But wade dropped off and i think that was the main contributing factor that led him to land the way he did. Inexusable tackle i agree

id be satisfied with 3, its just touch and go for me when its starts off a 2 man tackle into a one man tackle.

But just because they want to crack down on lifting , it shouldnt mean the punishment should be so hard. If they are so agaisnt lifting why not just ban it from the game?

Well the lift is in a way banned. Once a play is lifted off the ground he is called held. Tackle complete. Unless its a textbook front on driving lift there really is no need for it. And if you lift and get them in a dangerous position you cop a suspension. So yeah they are outlawing it. Cant just penalise someone if they lift a guys feet off the ground.

I'm not saying they got it wrong, but the match review has no consistency. Like do they use an octopus or something?

Anyone who thinks that Andrew's tackle wasn't bad needs to look at it again. I knew as soon as I saw it he was gone for a while. 4 weeks is quite fair I reckon, he'd be lucky to get any less.
I did hear Gal this morning on BSB (Yes HB I'm still listening to these drongos...) and he said they are comparing it to the Beau Falloon lift on Jack Bird a few weeks ago that was a grade 1 throw. They reckon his was worse than Andrew's. Only difference was Bird bounced up and got straight back into it while Clydesdale had to be looked at and taken off.

Im only looking at the circumstances. Wade had the top end then dropped off. If he didnt drop off he wouldnt have been put in a dangerous position. What happened to the 3 warriors that contributed to a tackle just as bad?

Yeah fair enough mate, but you could argue both cases until the cows come home. It was a dangerous throw, 4 weeks is fair, we'd be blowing up if someone that made the tackle against us didn't get time, so I think they should take the guilty plea and move on.

If they fight it they are dick heads. Fifita would probably be happy to be paid to not play for 6 weeks though

I gave it a listen recently mate. I actually didn't mind it but can't strand the ads unfortunately. Occassionally I'll listen to some of the Triple M footy shows but via podcasts to avoid ads.

I think our best option is to go for a downgrade. admit guilt but not say its a grade 3 and maybe try and get it to a grade 2. Im not sure how that would look points wide, and weeks out etc.

Simple - compare it to Faloon's tackle on bird who went right over the horizontal - 2 weeks.

NRL Match review inconsistency record should ensure that there is sufficient examples to get a downgrade.

What is involved with conresting?

Do you go in there with videos of similar incidents that got lesser bans? Or do you just plead your case, get laughed at and given an extra 2 weeks?
