has anyone thought that Gal being a bigger brand actually benefits us?

Marketing wise it is good for him and us.

Based on the benefit we've received so far, either the sharks marketing department are absolutely useless, or Gallen isn't quite the drawcard you might think.

seriously though, and this should all be moved, but if Gallen wants to fight, maybe something the club should look at in its club reno's is an entertainment room which could host boxing matches (not just gallens, or not at all i should say), televisted pro fights. Its all possible. Brings people to the club, spending money. Chances for sponsors to have a nice little extra endorsement for a little extra

Costs a packet for clubs to put on Main Event. It depends on the fighters/promoters but thats what I've been told before calling clubs to see if they're showing fights. Apparently Mundine used to charge over and above, which is surprising because he struck me as a humble bloke who'd never overstate his worth

Didn't Jnr Talipeau (spelling) fight at the Sharkies club regularly a few years back? If so the venue can obviously handle it

Our current marketing and sponsorship situation would suggest otherwise .. hasn't help yet why would it be any different moving forward?

Both brothers are on the Footy Show tonight. They're becoming quite the drawcard.

His cast is just on his hand? Has he done his hand aswel as his arm?

Standard cast for a hyper-extended thumb with ruptured ligaments. 6 weeks in cast and 12 weeks physio after that. Prone to getting a recurring injury but with good strapping can be minimised. Can really effect grip so may effect weights training.
