It's one of those things though that shows where his priorities are - he was more concerned about putting in for the team and getting a win then he was about his own body.

Yeah its stupid but it also takes courage to play through the pain and the players will remember it. Things like that move into legend status like John Sattler's broken Jaw - so when times are tough in a game that really matters either he or another player can call it up to inspire -

"Remember when Fifita played with a broken arm - well are we going to pussy out or harden up like he did and win this ****ing game"

Don't disagree with any of that, Hamsy. Still would have preferred he didn't go back on though. Would be nice to have as many guys getting a full off-season in as possible.

In your head, rent free
i am fine with him going back on, he knew in his body that he could, and he still played with purpose, hit hard, ran harder, just couldnt fend so he didnt crab

also, people should not be worried about him coming back on, people should be talking about him coming back on, showing passion, ripping in and doing what you want from a senior player on big coin in your leadership group

if gal showed half the dedication to the team that fifita showed yesterday in 80 minutes maybe we wouldnt be in the race for the wooden spoon

Tried his backside off yesterday, to the point that he overplayed his hand a bit much, it seems when Fifs really wants to win he overplays his hand & starts bringing the rubbish into his game as well as trying to milk penalties, I hope the coaching staff are pointing this out to him.

Agree again. But he shouldn't have been allowed to go back I guess is my point. If it was a game that meant something it wouldn't bother me.

Anyway, he certainly does have a lot of ticker and mongrel in him. Just needs to cut the silly penalties from his game.

Spot on. Can't believe some are so ****ing negative they'll rip on a bloke for playing through a broken arm for his side when they absolutely needed him.

I'd say he knew his arm was at least 4 weeks worth of ****ed and figured there wasn't much to lose.

If he gets those ****ty cheap penalties out his game he'll be whatever he wants to be in this comp. Those early 3 penalties really did kill us yesterday, at least 1 was 5th tackle of the 3rd set on our line which they scored off the next set. They were worse than any pass Politoni didn't throw.

I'm not ripping of Fifita mate. It's great he wanted to go back on, I'm saying he shouldn't have been allowed to go back on. Big difference.

You have to ask-- What medical staff would allow a player to go back into that with a broke arm

Seen him interviewed at the airport and he said he knew it broke but did his best to hide it.

Snowman with the logical post of the year

Gal is our highest paid player and has played less than a 3rd of the games this season. Did complete an origin series, will complete four nations regardless of how bad his injuries are. If four nations wasnt on, he would have played last weekend. Classic gal saving himself for ron.

Fifita knew his season was over and came back on to help his team mates.
Cooper cronk left the field in an origin game and didnt come back. Fifitas break required surgery. He isnt on 650,000 now, but will be next yeR and if he keeps displaying that heart we will get a million dollars out of him
