yeh joshua was way to cocky and open

he gets a rematch in 6 months so i expect him to be better

but **** me the bloke who beat him was fat as ****, there is hope for all of us!

Score one for the ordinary rigs mate.
Boxing ain’t all about being chiseled out of stone. Some of the hardest punchers I know are fat ****ing heaps.

Kostya’s young fellow just beat Horn by TKO after 8 rounds. It is being said he absolutely demolished him.

RIP marvellous Marvin hagler, those of us old enough will forever remember those epic four middleweights and their awesome encounters hagler, sugar ray, hitman hearns and Roberto Durant.
Those that don’t recall em do yourself a favour and YouTube pretty much any of their fights, especially “the war” hagler v hearns.

Looking forward to Harry Garside 1st pro fight. I reckon he should be main card in stead of the Gal fight.

Well done Tim Tzyuz seriously how one judge had it one point the difference is baffling.. shows you if your to fight overseas you need to knock them out.

the guy he fought hadn't been in the ring for a year , i personally think if he gets the fight he's targetting next anytime soon he'll struggle .
I'm hoping he fights a few more tough fights before taking any of the top 2 guys

I didn’t hear the result. I guess he lost.
He did but he wasnt disgraced. Fought really well, other bloke was just a better technical boxer, the fight ended up being quite close after Gal was outclassed in the early rounds.

Time for Gal to move on

I agree, but the only opponent I’d like to see Gal fight is SBW, make that his retirement fight, you know unless SBW bitches out again like the bitchy bitch he is.i

Yeah Gal said afterwards he found he wasn't quite recovering between rounds like he is used to but still finished the fight stronger than the other bloke. Had him well and truly on the back foot late but the other guy already had the fight in hand. Just shows how big Gals engine is.

I think he might chase another payday fight or two but won't fight any more actual boxers.

The full 10, a proper fight.

Goes to show how easily Gal would have won a lot of his fights if they had been 10 rounds - he got outboxed in this one and couldn't recover like he has previously and still was going stronger at the end than the other guy.

Gallen has also always fought against bigger opponents with longer arms - he could handle when they were older power fighters or footy players, not so much the young true boxer
Guy really picks him apart - Australian title holder for a reason I guess!

That is cool. Sounds like Gal is a really good fighter but he's not in the class of really good boxers.

Only so much elite fitness and toughness can last you as you get older and while fighting younger guys with much better technique AND reach.

Without high level stopping power very hard for Gal to beat someone with much better technique and longer reach.

Come on Gallen, I want to see him smash Hodges tomorrow! All the stuff Hodges has been giving out last few days, I'd love to see Gallen tell Hodges to shut up & smash him! I'm a Queenslander, not often I'm against these guys but Hodges was always a grub, would love to see our former captain smash him now haha. Go Galls!

Be Gallens worst fight if Hodges beat him.
Hope he punches holes through him.

Hodges first fight was against some bum he found in a pub he managed to knock out punching like Victor Radley

Would be awesome to see Galls smash the hell outta him! Hannant ain't so bad as Hodges though. Still prefer him to beat both them together.
