Won't have to worry about losing Tolman to Origin either

Bulldogs fans are idiots , Tolman carried that trash team on his back similar to how Gal did for us in the early 2010's . no one else stepping up to carry a workload and compensate for an incapable backline

Tolman doesn't have to worry about ball playing and getting us in position for a 5th tackle kick at the Sharks, he has better players and a more organised team around him. Tackle and run is all he has to do for us and he is excellent at those 2 things. It's a big bonus he has that pro attitude as well

The 4th tackle settler - well really there are only so many plays and ways to attempt to score a try in rugby league. the majority of the game is players running forward and getting tackled. teams also liked to get through their set and all their tackles before putting on a play that will most likely turn the ball over to the opposition. The 4th tackle hitup will compress the defense somewhat which can be advantageous to the next play provided the PTB is quick and they attack the right area.

I think the real waste is the 1st tackle hitup from a tap or scrum down in the oppositions 20 but it's the same principle.

I know he got through his usual work tonight making his runs and racking up the tackles but thought he looked somewhat lethargic even if that's his usual state of being lol

In better news Williams fined about a grand for his lift and Nikora cleared ...

i thought JW did a great one on one, lifted , flirts with the horizontal (seen worse) but the man lands clear as day on his back. sure I saw a similar on in the south WT game last night - no call made, very very similar tackle. souths crowd erupted nothing was done!
JW penalty lead to something I'm sure!!!

nikora, understand that one being cleared

This is not what harsh crusher penalties were brought in for.

Tolman has made a bazillion good tackles over a long career, is a week out for this 1 gonna teach him anything? What's the purpose?

Was it his ruck Defence we were missing early on. I felt the dogs were strolling through up filed, especially in the first half.

We started off the ball and Napa and Thompson got a roll and they got rewarded by 2 Dugan errors in first 10 mins. Tolman doesn't fix that

Tolman may have stopped the roll of Napa and Thompson thou.
Granted he doesn’t fix the Dugan errors but the dogs might not have been in that position
