Ganda, you’re a good bloke I know but I’d have Tolman, Williams or Toby starting at lock before I even thought of Billy.

I thought that too mate but he is listed as a new signing in the same article.

Ganga :) I thought we were discussing rudolf at lock. I haven’t seen enough of Tolman to comment on his position yet.
But I wasn’t impressed with Williams last season.

I think he'll 100% be in the side.
yes - i don't think sporting news understands why we signed Tolman or they would have in the 17

they are jumping the gun on Pele, massive talent but his time will come behind more established and experienced players first I would think

typical tolman peformance - made more metres than i thought actually didnt have to work super hard in defense but made some important grabs late game and barely missed a thing. plenty of carries , needs more minutes arguably

good work picking up the ball from the non dragons dummy half and some other things

if you expect more from him you don't understand his game

Had 45 which is plenty for a bench player, he can take on more if needed but I’d rather have a better option than Billy doing 20ish take a few mins off Woods than just give them to Tolman

more like take more of Billy's, Woods was good
How about all of Billy’s? Has he shown anything at all in fg? I mean anything at all? He’s played 7 games now and offered zip. There is nothing he offers the team.

Mixed feelings... looks incredibly slow at times, but keeps working.

Same - almost zero impact in his runs but I know we didn't buy him for that and we have other forwards to make the metres.

Yeah he has definitely declined to a bench level. Think he's solid as a bench option though.
Lacked impact but made a lot of runs for good meters and decent tackle count for no misses, 1 ineffective.

Probably see him for another year with the clean out we're likely to have next year

I was impressed by Tolman last night, particularly the way he tackled Nathan Brown and the other guys returning the drop outs. Really put his body on the line and set a great example

from memory his first run; ran like 15-17 metres up the guts.

also impressed by Jack williams. I have been critical of him, when those two came on together - they did their job. good effort.

Yeah, some of those one on one clashes were brutal, and Tolman didn't take a backward step
