What was the crowd for their match against Perth? Didn't look all that big on TV.

About 21,000. Definitely could of been better. If we were playing City instead, it probably would of gone up to 28-30.

That's pretty ordinary for a game to make the GF I would have thought regardless of the opposition? I actually thought they got better crowds than that.

We had 36,000 for a prelim against a non Sydney team. Not trying to be funny but there are only two Sydney A League teams, I just thought the crowd would have been bigger. I guess the NRL is much bigger though.

the nrl is arguably the most popular league in australia though, probably competing with afl

the step below is to the next tier is quite significant. 21k against perth is probably a fair result.

taking a look at our semi against the cows, their bay was sold out. completely sold out. perths end was empty.

Fair enough.

The AFL is definitely more popular then the NRL though, if going off crowd numbers anyway. Not sure how ratings compare.

Not as bad as last October, come game time though....
Could be a very bittersweet day, Rovers could be down before the day is over.

No this is worse. Unlike the NRL Grand Final, Sydney FC are such overwhelming favourites to win, it would be a massive let down if Melbourne fluke a win. So yeah, I'm feeling the heat.
