Blix's ratings for Cronulla vs Wests Tigers (NRL Premiership, Round 1, 2012)
3 Points - Todd Carney: Absolute quality, yes he stuffed up going for the drop goal on first, but besides that, his'running game is lethal, as is his'passing game, and his' kicking game was very good too, every single kick except 1 or max 2, put pressure on the opposition. (Williams could have scored off one if he had not dropped the ball) (9/10)
2 Points - Isaac De Gois: Great game, very aggressive in defense, and darty out of hooker, stoked to have him back. (8/10)
1 Point - Colin Best: Quality, the best game I have seen Best play for us, he was making breaks all over the shop. (8/10)
- Nathan Gardner: Loads of mistakes, not backing up the play anywhere near as much as he use to, out of position for nearly every kick. Looks like he is trying to hide when the bomb gets put up. (4/10)
- John Williams: Good game, very solid in attack and defense, bent the line with his'hitups (7/10)
- Ben Pomeroy: Excellent game, error free (not really tested much on his'line though), some quality runs and aggresive defense (8/10)
- Matthew Wright: Shocking! heaps of mistrakes and he was getting monstered on his'hitups (3/10)
- Wade Graham: Running games was average at best, his kicking game was completely shït, he kicked down their throat every time. I am not saying get rid of him, but I am saying he shouldnt be kicking, his strength is running at the line (6/10)
- Bryce Gibbs: Good game, best of our props this week (7/10)
- Ben Ross: Good game, sets a good platform, hope to see more though! (6/10)
- Jeremy Smith: Good game, very solid (7/10)
- Anthony Tupou: For mine, I still think he is average, one good pass doesnt make a game, he doesnt bend the line in attack, and is not massively involved in defense either. I would rather this spot go to someone else ! (5/10)
- Paul Gallen: probably one of the worst games he will play this year, still a handful though (6/10)
- Andrew Fifita: good game, a much more mature effort then I thought he would produce, hit it up straight, and only really crabbing when the opportunity was there to break the line with fends and offloads, for mine this was exactly what I wanted to see from him! (7/10)
- Sam Tagataese: cräp game, he really struggled bending the line in a conventional prop manner, I have always rated him, but he was shïte on the weekend, not sure if it was the gameplan, but he needs to improve if that is his'permenent role, otherwise Taufua has to come in. (4/10)
- John Morris: Quality game, had good impact (7/10)
- Jayson Bukuya: Quality game, had good impact (7/10)
