Wow, what a win for us, that was a top performance in general after the 1st 15 minutes. That might put our confidence up so much better now. We could have won by so much more aswell. I thought Canberra's 3rd try was a knock on. I thought our 2nd last try which was ruled back a penalty should have been a try.

Ricky is a fair bloke & he gave us great credit during his press conference. He seemed to be furious with his players. Anyway, we played so much better after we scored our 1st try. I think apart from the 1st 15-20 minutes we played really well & deserved that many points & tries.

Yeah I thought it was a good presser, honest about his cattle and paid us plenty compliments.
I guess people hear what they want to hear.

When I watched the presser live, I saw a different presser with Ricky. I think it was last years one when we beat them. Don't know what the hell happened!

Just finished watching the replay. Was driving back down from a weekend away in Coffs Harbour and as most of you know I followed the game on the NRL website.

Obviously the first 20 mins was **** with dropped ball, poor energy and terrible defence seeing us down 18-0 after 23 minutes. 1,000 points to the doomsayers who proclaimed the game over. So over dramatic those posters. But I should expect that, they are there every game.

Not Will Kennedy’s best game by a long margin but those calling for him to be hooked or sent to the Jets are kidding themselves. Ridiculous things to say. Yep, horrible miss on Schiller’s first try and a simple dropped ball in the second half but we all know he is better than that.

I do wish people would realise just how short on troops we are and recognise that game as a good win under the circumstances. Other idiots calling for Fitz’s head also need to take a little holiday. Some of the comments are downright embarrassing but again, it’s the usual suspects.

I thought Jack Williams was immense tonight. As most have said, he changed the game when he came on. McInnes was enormous. Hazleton was strong. Ronnie scored yet another double and the backline eventually started to do some good things. Of the new guys I think Iro definitely stood out and I think Burns and Atkinson played with good energy. Turks was amazing, love to know if he can play more minutes.

Amazingly we could have been 5-0 after the bye, had it not been for that horrible game last week.

We will get some troops back but tonight’s game did show me we have some good depth to fill in when needed.
