Ricky said in the press conference after being asked whether it was a bit of complacency that came in before the game & especially after the 1st 15. He said that there was no complacency that came in whotsoever & knew it was always going to be tough even with 5-6 big players out for us. That's according to him on his behalf , however the players were the ones on the pitch, not him, Tapine's facial reaction to that wasn't the best. It makes me wonder whether the players themselves may have got a bit complacent without Ricky knowing or thinking haha. If they did, thats their own fault now & they might start to think twice next time they play any teams with big players out. No game is easy in the NRL & anyone can clearly beat any team on their day.
