How is this bloke allowed back in the nrl is just beyond me.

Totally agree that he probably should never have been allowed back, but he's not exactly the first extremely dubious character to get a second chance in the NRL.
What I don't get is Abdo's stance. If you allow the guy back, treat him like everybody else. To play 300 games at highest level of the game should be recognised. What's next, erase him from the record books? Pretend he's just a figment of our imagination?

Problem is, they didn't anticipate the legitimate outcry and are now backpedaling fully knowing they can't get out of that situation unless they de-register him and say 'sorry, we ****ed up.' Which would open another can of worms.

(edit) That's poor leadership in my opinion.

He's been contracted for months now not paying anything back though which is the entire problem

He did stash his money, was major part of lawsuit
That wasn't the case when NRL re-registered him though, perhaps fair to say NRL didn't know that would be the case when accepting contract.

NRL should have said get your friend to gift you back some of that money you gave them so you can pay off your civil debt and we will let you back, because that's dodgy AF though

will not receive official NRL recognition on his 300th career match
But behind closed doors……….

If there is a court ruling, Garnish his wages and pay them to his ex directly.

The money generated from gate ticket sales (Cam/GI) and the diamond ring (Mrs Cam) could go directly to her without going through the middle man in Jennings.

Simples……..

😉😉😉

I'd like to see Jarrod Hayne present the jersey

I’m not sure but you may be confusing recognising/celebrating his 300th game with more like a testimonial game.

He was never getting and gate takings or rings.

Kurnell junior Chevy Stewart to debut for the Raiders to cover Jordan Rapana.

Interesting to see how he goes. Didn't notice him that much in the recent NSW Cup game against the Sharks... Ison seemed better.
