He's a massive flog, you'd be happy to see the back of him as a Tigers' fan.Nofa complaining to RLPA about tigers treatment of him. Refusing to train
If I was tiges I'd turn around and make a statement that he should be thanking them for paying him more than he's worth for close to a decade

Tigers should just say no worries let’s tear up your contract then and you can go your own way. He's a massive flog, you'd be happy to see the back of him as a Tigers' fan.
You need a player or players to put the game to bed if you're going to grind though, otherwise you can be beaten by some luck or x factor by the opposition. Penrith have that. I'm not sure St George do.Can't see why Penrith won't have continued success in 2024. They're the kings of the grind
Comments like this from Hunt will have ASADA knocking on his door, as he’s clearly giving the devils lettuce a crack during the off season.Hunt talking up a premiership for Saints next year.
Dazzled by Flanno's teeth.
Are they wrestling???David Noafalouma having a whinge about training.
Apparently he came back too unfit/overweight and now he’s whinging at how tough the training is to try get him back to playing weight asap ****ing sook.
I don't think they have to be a gun/guns though. You've seen how good rookie halves look when they fill in at Penrith. Cleary's game is exactly the same every game and it's nothing complicated - run when the opposition gets tired, which they inevitably do. That's probably the real strength of the team, being able to wear down the opposition almost every timeYou need a player or players to put the game to bed if you're going to grind though, otherwise you can be beaten by some luck or x factor by the opposition. Dunno where he'd go though, except England.Nofa's probably trying to force the Tiger's arm so that he can get a release and play elsewhere

Yeah that’s a good point. I guess that’s what I’m seeing when I see Cleary seal games for them. They’re like the storm in that they make average players look good. It will be interesting to see how all the former Penrith guys at other clubs go this year.I don't think they have to be a gun/guns though. Don't get me wrong, Cleary has a pretty decent game. I don't rate him as much as many but there's no doubt he developed perfectly for the Panthers style of play. I think that's probably why he's not kicked on to greater heights at origin/international level... That and still being young I suppose.Yeah that’s a good point. I’ve said before that nrl coaches are like horse trainers. You need to know how to train the horse to win, but before that you need to select the right horse for your methods. In the nrl I reckon over half a coaches job is signing the right players for the system they have. If they get that only 80 percent right they aren’t winning a comp.
Brandon smith at the chooks for me is an example of a coach getting that wrong.
Should've just stayed with us, and remained a gun centre, instead of killing his career at brisbane maccas. He couldve been full back with Val suddenly leaving for NFL alsoJack of all trades eying return to centres under Flanno

Pretty sure he wasn’t selected for the Kangaroos this series due to injury but does have 5 caps to date.Don't get me wrong, Cleary has a pretty decent game.
