Shark Park ranked 5th

Transport: Parking is limited at the ground, but shuttle buses run on a loop from Caringbah, Cronulla and Woolooware stations. Otherwise, it’s a 15-minute walk from Woolooware.

Ground and atmosphere: A great ground for viewing, but you’ll want to hope for clear skies, with about half the ground open to the elements, and undercover seating vulnerable to rain when the wind blows in.

Fans are vibrant and passionate, and general admission tickets start at $20. There’s no shortage of food options with bratwurst, wood fired pizza and gluten-free ice cream just some of what’s available. Prices, however, are a bit steep for families.

What they said: “The atmosphere when PointsBet Stadium is at capacity is second to none; however, we acknowledge there are ongoing challenges and that many of the facilities need a facelift and the stadium an upgrade,” Sharks chief executive Dino Mezzatesta said.

“Every Sydney club has received some form of funding for a stadium refurbishment and/or the construction of a Centre of Excellence, and we will continue to seek similar assistance.”

Score: 6/10

Penrith fans clearly have no pride & class about them. Walsh's head clash & fracture with May wasn't good & for them to boo him off & taunt him while he was being helped off, that is just absolute classless. We should never boo & taunt a player off when he's got a bad face fracture like Walsh did.

Agree Sharkboy 18 ,
BUT if Walsh wasn't the most un-humble , egotistical wanker that has ever strapped on a footy boot , this might not happen.
Perhaps he brings that totally un-acceptable crown behaviour on himself ?
Never wish ill to him BUT if it happens , so be it if Karma Gods deem it so .

Not so sure .
He's a BRILLIANT individual , but is he too BIG for a team like Mitchell ?
I love Kennedy , humble , team player , affordable with HEAPs of skills of his own
Not 100% I'd swap , most would

Kevin WalterS Bi-Polar ?
YESTERDAY

Broncos coach Kevin Walters didn’t think the collision would end in suspension for May despite the Walsh injury

“I didn’t see too much in it,” Walters said.

“It is one of those things that can happen.”

TODAY

But Walters was furious that May escaped punishment for the shot that could sideline Walsh for up to six weeks, saying he was concerned that rival teams could target the young gun in similar fashion in the future.

“It’s disappointing, I’m a bit confused about the rules with the duty of care for our players,” Walters said on Monday.

“Reece is going to miss four to six weeks.

“There was contact to the head which is duty of care.

NRL legends clash in heated dispute on live TV

It seems the NRL match review agrees with Paul Gallen.
The former NSW State of Origin captain was embroiled in a heated debate with Brad Fittler and Johnathan Thurston on Thursday night after the Panthers’ crushing win over the Broncos.
The result has been overshadowed by an ugly incident that has left Broncos star Reece Walsh with a fractured cheek bone.
Referee Gerard Sutton subsequently placed May on report.
However, May was not charged when the NRL match review announced its verdict of the incident on Friday morning.
Gallen was outnumbered in the heated debate on Thursday night with Fittler and Thurston both calling for May to be charged over the incident.
Gallen’s argument that the collision was a simple accident in a contact sport was supported by the NRL match review.
Here’s a brief transcript of how the post-match segment on Channel 9 went down.
Paul Gallen: For me it was totally accidental. I’m surprised he was put on report and was penalised for it. You can tell it’s totally accidental there. Hopefully Reece Walsh is OK. That he hasn’t broken his cheekbone and might only miss a week, but that does not look good.
Brad Fittler: I think if you come in on someone’s blindside you are responsible to tackle below their shoulders.
PG: No Freddy. I don’t care, I know it’s an accident. But you are totally responsible. It’s a head clash.
BF: I know that, but you are responsible. It’s still contact above the shoulders.
PG: He can’t control where Reece Walsh steps or what Reece Walsh does.
BF: You can control how high you tackle. You are going in on someone’s blindside.
PG: He didn’t even tackle him.
BF: Of course he tackles him.
PG: He tipped the ball on and he tried to stop, to brace himself for a collision.
BF: He went in to tackle him and you are responsible.
PG: It’s a collision sport Freddy.
BF: I understand that. You’re responsible mate.
PG: So Reece Walsh has no responsibility. He can step wherever he wants.
Johnathan Thurston: I’ve got to agree with Freddy.
PG: It’s an accident guys.
JT: We know it’s an accident.
PG: Then why should he be charged or suspended for it.
BF: Because he hit him in the head.
JT: You have a duty of care. And you can tell he’s actually not gone in for the tackle. He’s jumped up.
PG: He braced. He didn’t jump. He braced.
JT: He braced yes, but you’ve got to lower your target.
PG: It’s an accident.
JT: You have to lower your target.
Fittler said May should not have been suspended but believes the Penrith centre should have been fined.

So what is it Brad?
You are saying he should be “responsible” (meaning punished) but you don’t want him “punished”.
FMD you have lost the plot.
