Pretty funny to see all the nrl players needing to get visa approvals for the American game due to their misdemeanours
NRL - who are we going to send to America, a place that has cocaine at a 1/5th of the price of Australia?

Walsh - me?

Cheese - Haha, I’m keen too brah.

NRL - well that’s settled

Well put together. Could have done with a few more of the most ridiculous nrl moments in there. Some dwz put downs, fiends backflip try assist etc. If you get that running on some US networks I think it will serve its purpose.

Got a first look at the ambiguity of the new short kickoff/dropout rules today in a Qld junior reps game.

Team attempts a long dropout, completely shanks it, ball goes out on the full 23m out. Ref runs over and says to the players “contested kick, so no penalty. Play the ball.” 😂

At least three different people are n the crowd had a grab at it
Ah. I see!

So a 6 at the cricket is now 11?
6 for hitting over the boundary on the full and 5 for “interference” (Like hitting a helmet behind the keeper) with a spectator trying to catch it.

😂 it didn’t make it that far.

Could just be one ref going out on his own - which wouldn’t be a first. I didn’t even know that rule was going to finger down to other comps.

Next week someone will kick it ootf but an extra 5m downfield and some ref will blow a penalty because it went too far to be called a contest.

Can of worms imo. Too many grey areas.

With the Super Bowl on got me thinking if we will ever see gloves come back into the NRL.
These nfl gloves are insane.
Could see 1 glove on the non dominant hand be effective for wingers or props who don’t have a passing license.

With short kick offs and drop outs increasing there's an argument for it for sure. Is there a rule against it?
