I must have misheard and the reports say he has “stepped down”, not retired. But it didn’t sound hopeful the way Hadley spoke

Pretty funny to see all the nrl players needing to get visa approvals for the American game due to their misdemeanours

The Dolphins are streaming their trial game vs CQ Capras.

They also reckon they are fielding a proper NRL squad for trial week 1 vs Titans.

I've read that they don't have any proper first graders at the Dolphins

@SF remember yesterday when I was talking about the old footy heads doing things their way...

Had a run in with a footy club bloke a few years ago who literally said that the NRL PDF is bullshit and he is going to run the club his way, push for div 1 teams, train kids like NRL players from u12's, offer special coaching for the "best" players and so on. Essentially the exact opposite of what the PDF says. A shining example of everything that is wrong with Rugby League coaching.

I just found out that this same bloke has been asked for a "please explain" from the league after he tried to transfer 20+ players in from other teams in the area to his u15's team. Basically he's scouted his local clubs and schools, hand picked everyone else's best players and approached their parents to bring them over. Textbook poaching.

League rules say that if you get caught doing this **** they tear your coaching cert up. They won't do that to this bloke, but they should.

Despite everything in place to try to prevent it, footy heads will do what footy heads have always done.

Best thing Manly did was avoid that ****. Hope the League continues to steer clear too. Nothing against the alphabet peoples but the movement is too weaponised, politicised & as we saw, divisive.

That was what you call avoiding it?

Exactly, they didn't avoid it at all.

I'm not in agreement with any special jerseys of any kind. I'm old school, you have a home and away jersey plain and simple. BUT I do like the Indigenous jersey though, an idea I have is that every jersey should have some sort of Indigenous recognition, like a symbol or artwork on it that relates to the area.

I'm somewhat partial to the idea of the indigenous jersey becoming the home strip.

My ideal jersey rotation is somewhat controversial though tbh haha.
