All the voices of my childhood in the 90's are now retired.
He was great. For a guy that had no media training, be became as entertaining (to me) as the likes of Daryl Summers, Graham Kennedy and Benny Hill.
Plus he didn't mind bucking the corporate trend (like his biased commentary during Origin). Compare his biased approach to someone like Andrew Johns. Chalk and cheese. Fatty came from a humorous perspective whilst Johns just comes across as a angry spoilt brat.
Enjoy your retirement mate. Well deserved.
